I am trying to identify a name for this type of design that I am seeing more and more of on SaaS /Web App sites. It is a demonstration of the site software functionality, but like a mock-up/abstract version. It can be static images or video. You can see some examples of video below and hopefully you can see the image I have attached:

Is there a name for this type of feature demonstration?

Both videos look like they're using a mockup/wireframing tool to demonstrate interactivity.

I don't think there are any specific terms for this sort of thing, to me I'd call it a "wireframe demo".

Thanks. @BlueDreamer It's interesting and really draws my attention. Makes the product look smooth and easy to use. Both the video's I attached have fully functioning products, but rather than show a video or gifs of the actual product being used, they choose to use abstract lines and blobs, but it actually works better I think.

There's no hard and fast rules as to how you do things like this.

If you're using this to help sell a product it's worth experimenting with different approaches.
