blueyonder email settings

Featured Replies

Hi

I was hoping somebody could help me.

I have made a website for a friend and transferred the IPS tag and changed nameservers, This has resulted in my friend not receiving emails. Their email address has always been enquiries@domain.co.uk which sent emails to their blueyonder email. The domain is now hosted with Godaddy, How do I get emails sent to enquiries@domain.co.uk to appear in their blueyonder inbox?

I found the following settings on Virgin Media for Blueyonder, how to I input this into Godaddy and is the information below the necessary information to do this?

There are a couple of way to do this:

1. On your Godaddy account you could set up an email "forwarder" so any email to their domain simply gets sent to the blueyonder email account as well.

2. You could set up "MX records" in the domains DNS records that routes all email directly to blueyonder, bypassing Godaddy's servers.

I already set up an email with Zoho that forwards to their blueyonder email but some emails do not get forwarded, zoho fails the forward mail with the following:

Technical details of the failure:
Wrong state!

So what would I put in Godaddys DNS records so emails sent to their custom domain go straight to blueyonder?

Thanks
