I already set up an email with Zoho that forwards to their blueyonder email but some emails do not get forwarded, zoho fails the forward mail with the following: Technical details of the failure: Wrong state! So what would I put in Godaddys DNS records so emails sent to their custom domain go straight to blueyonder? Thanks

Hi I was hoping somebody could help me. I have made a website for a friend and transferred the IPS tag and changed nameservers, This has resulted in my friend not receiving emails. Their email address has always been enquiries@domain.co.uk which sent emails to their blueyonder email. The domain is now hosted with Godaddy, How do I get emails sent to enquiries@domain.co.uk to appear in their blueyonder inbox? I found the following settings on Virgin Media for Blueyonder, how to I input this into Godaddy and is the information below the necessary information to do this? I have spoken with godady for some clarification. Basically, as you said changing ips tag does not alter the records, however changing the name server does. Therefore it is best to make note of the txt and mx records and reinsert these once nameserver has been changed. The records on office 365 will remain the same so the same records can be added into godaddy. Does this make sense?

Thanks for the reply. OK, so changing the IPS tag would leave all settings including txt and mx records unchanged, therefore we can still use Office 365 for this domain. Is this correct? Also, I will be hosting the website on my Godaddy host, I take it this would mean I will have to change the nameservers to godaddy default? Does this mean all settings will then be restored to godaddy default? Should I make a note of the settings in particular the txt and mx records so I can insert these back in once nameservers have been changed? The mx and txt records for the office 365 will still be the same right? Sorry for all the questions, just want to clariy it all so I know for future reference.

Hi Just a quick question. I have been asked to redesign a website for a friend. I will be transferring the domain from their current register which is BT to godaddy. My friend uses office 365 at present for email. When I transfer the domain from one provider to another do I simply do this by changing the IPS tag to godaddy and transferring the website via godaddy dashboard? Do all records reset including mx and txt? If so then should I ask BT for a note of the current txt and mx record for my friends email with office 365,and then replace the records on my godaddy account with the records bt have given? Will we then be able to continue using office 365 for email? Thanks

For some reason; when I had more feeds at the top, the feeds at the bottom are removed and I think some coding might have been removed too. Any suggestions?
