I read lots of article about the best WP security plugins and went with following:

 

BulletProof Security
wp-simple-firewall
iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security)
Wordfence Security
Acunetix Secure WordPress
Akismet
Exploit Scanner
Login Lock

 

All plugins are good. But i think 8 plugins is too much for one site.
I can't decide which is the best combination of WP security plugins? I will be grateful for advice!

I'd go with iThemes Security and Akismet. You definitely don't want lots of different security plugins in case they end up conflicing with each other, since they all do very similar things.

More plugins, whether they are suppose to be security plugins or not as a bad idea because they leave you more open to the potential of an attack.

ithemes and akismet are more than enough.

Depends on how well the plugins are written, not all plugins result in a decrease in security. Askimet is good for filtering out spam comments, although we generally use Disquss for commenting as opposed to WP comments. The issue with plugins is that you have very little quality control, however Advanced Custom Fields, Yoast SEO and Askimet are all very well written and are safe to use, I'd be reluctant to use anything else.

 

 

The others you can do without, they just do things that you should already be doing. The biggest security issue is the fact WordPress used to suggest admin as the username, for obvious reasons don't pick admin as your username.
