My website is just one month old. It is listed in all search engines and its important pages are indexed.

During the first 2 weeks i could see the visits to my website from across the world though not much still atleast 5 a day which was good start as my website was not completely built at that time lacking valuable content.

 

now after a month i dont see a single visit though i have added content. My site is still far away from its final version however i am worried why i cant see any visits??, what i can do better. The visits encourage me to work more and more. My site is mostly coded using javascript and html though i am using weebly website dev tool.

 

Kindly suggest. I can share name of my website if thats required.

Are you writing the content yourself? This happened to one of my client, it turns out that their site was penalized because the content they were publishing by then are all just copied and paste by their writer. It would be best if you check it with Copyscape.

 

Anyway, there's the factor of your newly coded site. Good to have a look at it.

Hi, Thanks for your quick reply and tool. well I tried to check with the tool and results do not match with my expectation. My site has my own blog which has mostly uniq content which is present just on my personal blog on blogspot. However outof all posts it shows only 1 post duplicate.

 

The remaining site is a collection of quotes on life, inspiration etc. So here the content will be mostly duplicate, however tool doesnot show any.

 

I think is it because my pages are not static and I populate data from array on page load eg. http://www.quotesforeveryone.com/text-quotes.html

however this is not the case with admin blog page.

 

Please suggest the best way to design and code so that I can get more visibility.

Thanks for all the replies. My one doubt still remains answered, probably its more on technical side. As I said my website does not have static pages with texts written on it( except my blog), every page when it loads, runs a script and as a output of which page is populated. Does that mean the keywords which I am referring are not actually found by search engines on my site pages?

 

I just want to know, having pages with static content and just linking them page by page will make any difference rather than populating the page using javascript code as per input requirements.

 

Eg: Creating seperate static pages on inspiration, friendship, life etc Vs populating the same page for inspiration,friendship,life quotes etc as per user inputs.

Inorder to increase the traffic to a website, perform blogging,classifieds,web 2.0 site and focus on sharing content.

You need to create backlinks for your website using some off page or link building activities like social bookmarking, forum posting, blog commenting. Use social websites like reddit, pinterest, stubledupon etc to promote your content.

If you are not SEO guy but need to do some stuff yourself then the easiest way is sharing information on social media. You just have to keep website title, short description, long description, logo, small-large banners, some links of your site, etc.. at one place. You have no need to find social media sites as just visit sites like addthis or sharethis then register on sites listed there one by one with the information you have. This technique does help as I applied many times.

u can use social media to get the traffic. Build your followers in FB, Twitter, G+ and Instagram. Every time u have new content, sharing on through them.

Look for developing quality links Social bookmarking, Free ads, forums, blogs. Guest blogging is also cool.
