Now that's a proper portfolio!

 

Only thing I'm not too sure on is the strike-through effect on some of the rollovers.

 

But apart from that minor thing it's top quality.

Strike-through is a no-no. Unify all your links into one or two styles.. right now they're all over the place.

 

I don't know if something is wrong with my browser, but there's a big space right above "Hello...". Is there supposed to be something there that I'm not seeing? If not, I'd get rid of it.

 

Your website is quite long.. a lot of scrolling. While this isn't a bad thing, it gives it more a blog feel instead of a portfolio. Especially since each portfolio item is separated by a black box.

 

Your text is small and hard to read.

 

I like the green and orange.. but the pink at the bottom seems unnecessary.

 

The white vector graphics at the bottom seem somewhat out of place..

 

You really need to unify your design. Everything seems to be a separate entity right now. You have a wood textured background with Green and Pink and Orange text with White, Blue and Orange links and everything is in its own separate box.

I like it, but agree with ^, too much scrolling. What about clickable thumbnails?

 

Other than that, a VERY nice site. I also love some of the work you have done

I see all projects and it is amazing.

What browser do you use? .. I've tested the website on IE, firefox, Safari and it seems that all is working fine. You should see an image with some vectors above the "hello" text.

 

I've tried to make a kind of .. crowded design .. this is why I used different styles for links.

Couple of things i noticed

 

- You have a cool fancy header, but some of the text infront of it is very hard to read.

- Not so sure about the strike through effect. takes away from usability imo.

- Your portfolio images are very large. wich makes it all a bit unorderd. You might wanna concider a few seprate pages like Home / Portfolio / CV . To make everything a bit easier to find / navigate.

Oh, and definitely get rid of the strike-through effect. I thought all your friends & partners had died and you had to cross them out!

 

Very impressive portfolio though!

Most of the things were covered...font size, link decoration, typos. I just wanted to point out some gfx elements. I would tone down the colours of the header because at the moment it is way too overcontrasted.

 

If you want to give a little more edge to your design you might want to add some kind of border to your content panels.

 

But first of all...get rid of the strike through decoration.

I'm using Firefox 3 RC1.. that may be the issue.

The text at the bottom of the portfolio images does get a bit lost, almost looking like part of the image - two words - white space!

 

The strike through links are a big no no - when do you use strike throughs? to indicate outdated, superceded, or no longer relevant information.

Nice touch. You may want to center the layout though, just a thought.

In the footer under "Networks" you have "porfile" instead of "profile"

 

Also, I don't really like the strike through...

 

Other than that, you've just proved you have advanced skill in web design...

I'm very happy that you didn't kill me guys Of course, there are a lot of things that I can improve on my design. I will remove that strike trough style on the footer links in my second version of my website .

Like it a lot - very stylish!

Id agree with most of the comments in here and i certainly think it would benefit from central alignment, but thats just a personal choice.

 

One tiny tiny thing in the coding: Since you have declared the page as XHTML transitional, your (impressively thorough) metadata should be closed correctly -> <meta name="" content="" />

But im picky...
