In the process of building a wordpress CMS and in need of a bit of help.

First thing that isn't working properly is the search, it doesn't seem to returning the relevant results and also you can see news is the current highlighted page (I guess this is because news is the (blog page)?

 

Secondly when you click on a case study e.g. go to Open cpd in the left hand menu. The case study opens up on the news page. This is probably a permalink issue. Each page e.g. Market research is a sub-page of the parent page in this case Open CPD. The main case studies page is also a sub-page showing the case study posts.

 

Any tips on how I can fix these issues would be great.

What d'you mean by "the relevant results"? By default, WP search queries all post types. What behaviour are you trying to create?

Sorry it does seem to be querying the posts and pages OK. Any ideas on the other problems I'm having?
