  1. Hello all! I am working on a furniture ecommerce site and someone pointed out an issue that I wish to ask you guys for a solution on. The store will be selling sofas and they come in 100's of colors. The issues is that on each monitor the colors can look different from what they are in real life, so someone might buy a sofa and be disappointed when they receive it IRL, especially if its a princely one. Now I am sure there are ways this can be fixed.. are there any software that fixes this? Any solutions to bring CSS colors to real life?
  2. I contacted the hosting provider, they say they have linux servers, so its not asp CMS. So Umbaraco (which would be the easiest way) wont work. I tried WordPress, I think it will take like 100 hours to copy this all, as its not in my skill set atm. The page has 3 languages and 3 language products catalog on it. Which CMS will be the easiest to use? Easiest, from the point of duplicating the page.
  3. That is WP, I did not want to post the link to that site (for SEO, dont want someone searching them to find link in this thread) so I posted the link to the original page over on that page. Sorry for the misunderstanding
  4. Ok, so back to the topic. Any ideas what CMS that is, and easiest way to move it onto WP or Joomla?
  5. I dont like joomla, but I will go with whatever CMS is the best choose here. I generally dont think it matters which CMS you use. What matters is getting the job done, making it easy for client and getting clients, at least for me. WordPress does it for me, so no need to change.
  6. Thanks for the answers. The sites link is in here- http://gamingtops.com/123-2/ I think its .asp , but not sure, how do I find it out? WordPress would be the best CMS to setup, but how exactly do I do it? By creating a new theme?
  7. Hi, I have a client who need to make changes on his page. The page was made at around 2007, I have no idea what CMS were "trending" then, but there is some old one on there. I understand it, and could make the changes easily, but we talked with the client that I would change the CMS to something newer. Could anyone tell me what CMS is this: Login panel is located at domain.com/u-adm/ Login page looks like this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/707/loginuadm.jpg/ After the log in it looks like this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/822/cmsh.jpg/ The company that has their logo as the systems providers are no longer in existence, even their domain is free to register. I think its just some very basic CMS that the old developer made. So any ideas what type of CMS is it exactly and the most effective way to change it?
  8. Very nice theme. Whats the name of it?
  9. Thanks, it is very close to what I'm looking for. Are there any more? This one is kinda limited in what I can do.
  10. Thank you guys. The adobe kuler is very cool.
  11. I created a custom div for buying a service in my website. Id like to make it so that when someone clicks on "Buy now" a popup that I can customize shows up. I will have multiple products, so multiple pop ups with different info inside. Perfectly something where I can create the popup content and then input a shortcut where I need it. Example: <a href="[popup-1]">Buy now</a> Is anything like this available for WordPress?
  12. So I have always sucked at art (I draw worse than a first grader) so I don't know what colors looks good, etc. I don't have the "art eye". For example, I created a new WordPress <div> to display price offer in border, I could of used a ready plugin, but I wanted to have full control over that div. Now I compare the plugin and the style I created. Mine is looking much, much worse. I do need to make web pages thought, so any suggestions? Are there any general guides? Any articles on what colors to choose?
