My first thoughts are the background and the grey text need to be darker, there is too little contrast, the yellow numbers don't contrast well either, some borders might help but I think its your colour scheme.

Total fail of a thread and amounts to nothing more than spam.

 

I've been reading through old threads and this seems to happen a lot. I wouldn't see anything wrong with it if they were honest about admitting it upfront and then asked for ideas about how to modify it to best suit their needs. But it seems like an awful lot of people want to take credit for website design and call themselves website designers when they haven't ever built a website or learned how to design.

 

I will say that there is nothing wrong with a designer using a legally available template to build a business website.

(As long as they don't take the credit for building it!)

 

I wish these kinds of beginners would at the very least make more of an effort.

 

It just feels like they are doing nothing but asking for free web traffic for their ten second website install.

 

I'm kind of frustrated with the all the talentless hacks who call themselves designers. I can design some pretty terrible websites myself but at least I know they are terrible and rushed and how to make them better.

 

I proudly use WordPress blog templates myself. I love them.

 

But I also build some websites from scratch.
