June 8, 201214 yr Author Good times Jason! Awesome mate. Off-topic, but I am just about to sign up to your SEO forum - looks really good mate
June 8, 201214 yr I'm not overly clued up on many Euro players, I'm more of a lower-league stato but can't miss out on a good fantasy league. ah nice one! Things will be picking up soon, and I'm happy with the pace it's going at. Allows me to iron out bugs
June 8, 201214 yr Author Yeah my team is a bit sketchy - you just have to avoid big name players for the sake of it - like Rooney and Ronaldo - I just know they will have awful tournaments - they always do! Good times on the SEO front - I am a member now - I need more SEO knowledge, so it seems a good place to join.
June 8, 201214 yr The best value players always seem to be the mid-range players unless you have inside tips on the £3mill-range type of players. I always go for a world class player in each position. But with something like Euros I think the team they're in has to be considered as well. Much tougher than premier league ones
June 8, 201214 yr Author Good good Mike - we'll see if your team stands up - anyone got any players in todays game? I have one Greek defender.
June 8, 201214 yr I've built my team whats the league name and pin? I'm in! Edited June 8, 201214 yr by jheg

June 8, 201214 yr Ah balls! I've already got a team on the Uefa site: http://en.euro2012fantasy.uefa.com Don't really fancy having to pick and run 2 teams, so I'll just watch and poke fun at you guys.
June 8, 201214 yr Author Spitfire, I don't think you make transfers with this one - you just let it happen Also - you can lucky dip your team, you may as well get involved
June 11, 201214 yr Any one watch the italy-spain game? It was like watching Aresnal in the 90's... both teams trying to just stroll in to the back of the net.
June 11, 201214 yr Author Not a bad start from England then - a draw is a good result against France, even if we did seem a bit negative.
June 12, 201214 yr Any other manager would've been praised to have gotten a result against a 22-game unbeaten French team with the likes of Nasri and Benzima. I think England played the game great from a tactical sense. I think we sat far to deep when we scored but still, a point is what I'm happy with lol

I think England played the game great from a tactical sense. Also, was the referee French?
June 12, 201214 yr Well impressed with England, strong solid performance. Think we got the goal too early cause no matter who's in charge we always start dropping too deep. I don't understand this about us having a weak team, in the passed we have had almost the best players in the world in most positions barring a few and preform poorly. When Greece won they had a solid team with no stars. But I also rate the players we have out there quite highly as long as Downing doesn't get a game.
June 12, 201214 yr Author A solid, if not inspirational win for the Czech Republic - I think Russia will breeze this group though.
June 12, 201214 yr I'm not too sure, they should but Poland have some fire and impressed me for parts of their first game.
June 13, 201214 yr That is one odd group. Tonight's games as well could go anyway. Think I might have a cheeky bet on Denmark.
June 16, 201214 yr Author Shame to see the Irish out, but in that group, it was inevitable. England have looked average, but sometimes an average team does bloody well, so we'll see what happens...
June 20, 201214 yr Author England are through then - if we stay nice and organised, we may spring a little surprise over Italy - but I cannot see us going all the way. We can't.... can we?
June 20, 201214 yr Even if we manage to scrape through against Italy, we'd have Germany next and I can't really see us beating them with their current form. I got holland in the draw at work so I'm already out
June 20, 201214 yr I've done a an Aston Villa. This was the season we were going to come good but we've stayed boring and crap. Edit. P.S I do not support Aston Villa. Lol no. Edited June 20, 201214 yr by brightonmike
June 24, 201214 yr Author HUGE game tonight - I doubt we'll win, technically, the Italians are better than us - but with dogged defending and English grit, we could do it. No shame in going out tonight, as long as we put up a great fight.
June 24, 201214 yr I don't think anybody thinks we will beat Italy - but going in as the underdogs with no expectation could be a huge benefit. My worry would be that if we wont and got into the semi's, everybody would think we can win the whole thing and the pressure would be piled right back on - mostly by the media. I hold our media to blame for past failings tbh. They are absolute runts to our team, always ripping the players apart.
June 25, 201214 yr At times like these I just look at my hometown and think... ... I chose to live there ¬_¬
June 25, 201214 yr No shame in going out tonight, as long as we put up a great fight. hmm. Then again the players did say they 'did the country proud'. They believe in something then.
June 25, 201214 yr I had the flags out on my gate (free from Tesco) but, as usual, I was relieved when they lost. No more pain for them or me. They were terrible after the first quarter, never got a shot at goal. They would be thrashed by Germany, so a 0-0 draw was acceptable but, as I say, painful to watch. When will we get an Engand team with cofidence to smash the opposition?
