Even if we manage to scrape through against Italy, we'd have Germany next and I can't really see us beating them with their current form. I got holland in the draw at work so I'm already out

I agree with byronc that body type is really difficult to read.

I don't think it's the large images make much of a difference 12px is just quite small for body text I think the norm used to be 16px but it varies quite a lot now.

Hey Ben, Your portfolio site is a well thought out and well executed minimal site, I would say that the size of the body text is too small but for some reason it works for me.

Welcome to the forums! I'd say just practice, practice, practice! Once you feel competent enough try seeing if anyone you know needs a website made for free, or approach some local charities and offer to remake their website. After that you should have a small portfolio to build on which will help with whatever you choose to do ie. freelancing or working for a company. Goodluck!

Basically give people time to answer before you post again.

If you have a registered business with a company number to prove you own it maybe try explaining the situation to 1&1 and ask them to get in contact with the registrar to get it sorted. Failing that if you wait 2 years for it to expire you'll be golden!
