Well Mike I recently got a samsung galaxy s2 when my contract was up for renewal so I have been using that for some time but I couldn't quite bring my self to get rid of the iphone. Last night me and my girlfriend stayed in London for the night in a hotel and whilst taking a bath I dropped my iphone into the water and fked it right up. Today I went along to the apple store in Covent Garden and they kindly gave me a brand new 3GS for just £119.99. My intention was to stick it on ebay and flog it but now after having a quick play with it I've realized that I far prefer the experience of the iphone over my Galaxy and so have decided to keep it and flog the Galaxy S2.

I suppose it was a bit of a nothing post really but I now realize how much I missed my iphone and had to share it with someone!

Funny how we can all read this in a different context;

I assumed he had sent an iPhone in to outerspace for an indeterminate amount of time, eventually had the iPhone returned and found that due to Einstein's twin theory, the phone had gained 1 hour but then then we're all different I suppose...

that would have been a better story in fairness

I wish it was this :)

+1 for the iPhone too. It was the first smartphone I brought and I've never looked back. One thing I didn't originally like about it was there being no memory card slot for it but that's just typical Apple, I doubt there would be any support for memory cards in the future either.

Now dual sim.. There's an idea..

'gave' gets a new meaning. Just be careful the 3GS doesn't become redundant when thy keep upgrading the OS.

I honestly think the S2 is a better phone than the iPhone 4.

I don't buy any of that Siri crap. I can't think of anything worse or more cringe-worthy than people walking around talking to their phones. I find it incredibly sad, a sad reflection on society where instead of using your phone to talk to real people, you're actually talking to your phone. I don't get it.

If anyone does, please explain it to me. I genuinely believe if anybody other than Apple had done it, it would have been dismissed as the gimmick it is.
