My web hosting is up for renewal and justhost.com seems to offer the best deal but wondered if n e one here uses them and what do you think I know there are reviews online but never know if they are genuine or members of staff

I used to go with Supergreen Hosting, but since they have more than doubled their price I wish to go with someone else. I only own a couple of small sites, but would like the option to grow within the next 2 years. I used XHTML/CSS/PHP and would also like the option of email accounts and databases. Can you guys please let me know which ones you use and how you would rate them? My price range is £5 a month or less

You should ALWAYS be concerned when a web host offers (in big letters) Unlimited GB's of Space and Unlimited GB's of Transfer, especially when you go to the Useage Policy and find it exceptionally vague. However you'll find further information in their main terms and conditions which upon further investigation you'll find they're just another basic bulk host based in the USA.

 

The "Anytime Money Back Guarantee" isn't actually what it says; then try out their 24/7 live tech support which is currently offline.

 

Personally I wouldn't go anywhere near them. Stick to a small host who are honest and up front about their services. Nobody can offer unlimited disk space or unlimited bandwidth.

This. 99% of the time these hosts oversell their packages, so the box your site is hosted on may not be capable of dealing with any significant amount of traffic on all the different sites living on it.

As you just wish to host couple of small websites, I can suggest you to go for shared hosting with Cpanel , which will allow you to host multiple sites under single account. Shared Hosting are really cheap this days you can surely get hosting for less than £5 per month.

We've used Fasthosts and Evohosting for years. Good support and prices are not too bad either.

Well I never heard about this provider. I can suggest you to go either with IX Web Hosting Or GoDaddy. Else apart from this you can also consider BlueHost or HostGator! By the way I am using IX and I am well satisfied with their services. So I highly recommend IX for you.

I use Heart Internet for my hosting; and I have to say their pricing is very good, as is their customer support. I am very satisfied with their services, and will be renewing my hosting with them when it ends in April.

I use 123-reg and Daily, they work fine and are UK based.

I use Hostgator and Godaddy for my sites. So far, I have nothing to complain.
