  1. Hi Niki, welcome to WDF; and you can start a new topic here (http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/forum/28-website-reviews-and-feedback/) to have your website reviewed.
  2. The share button is going to a new line due to the count to the right of it. You'll need to make the container of the sharing buttons bigger.
  3. I really like the concept and most of the design, however, you may want to consider adding a min-width, max-width and min-height to the description textarea. At the moment it is possible to extend the description box to the extent that the fields move outside your bordered container. Alternatively, you could set a permanent width and then only allow users to extend the description vertically.
  4. How should the footer be displaying? The only page that displayed slightly differently was the services page where the share button moves to a new line.
  5. I also use UpdraftPlus and use the feature that creates backups to Google drive. It's a really good plugin and fairly easy to use.
  6. Hi Danny, Welcome to the forums.
  7. Hi Beavy, I had a look at your website; and having taken a look at the CSS for the images. I can see that their max-width and max-height are set to 100% and their height and width are set to auto, therefore, each image will fill the available space upto their original height and width whilst remaining inside their container. This is why some of the images have spacing around them. For example: My monitor's resolution is 1680x1050. This means that the image container is 1533x785, but because for instance Dearnford-Lake-HDR-BW.jpg is 1024x642, it cannot fill the container and will therefore center itself, leaving the gaps. So in order to have each image fill the full width and height of the viewing area, you will need to have images that are either 1920 x 1080 in size or at an aspect ratio of 16:9. Sorry, for not being able to find a solution for your current images, but at least you can prevent the problem from occurring in the future.
  8. I just had a look at your website and the menu was displaying as image 3 in your original post without any reloads. I'm using Windows 8 and Firefox. After loading the Firefox Inspector I found that each menu item had a height of 215px applied, after removing the height using the Inspector, the menu was displaying as shown in image 1. The height is being set inline. I then reloaded the website a couple of times and the menu displayed as seen in image 2 of your original post. This time the <div>s that were given a height of 215px when I first loaded the site, now had a height of 50px. It would appear that there is a script running which is unable to calculate the correct height for the menu items when the website is loaded. I have attached a screenshot of the Inspector, which shows which <div>s had the changing heights. Hope this information helps you to solve the issue.

  10. I use Heart Internet for my hosting; and I have to say their pricing is very good, as is their customer support. I am very satisfied with their services, and will be renewing my hosting with them when it ends in April.
