Cheers for the feedback, its going to be a one page site so it scrolls as you read through should make sense once its live :)

Yeah I have a massive pepsi max addiction lol

Thanks adamoverload :) just wait till I get the photos up on flickr with a panda following me around at networking events ha!

Guessing your gonna use anchors in the page?

I Like it, and love the whole idea of it - But still think static pages would do you better.

OR - have a form in your contact section, I think it benefits the clients alot more and the designer.

all about ease of acess.

Nah numbers and skype have favored me better than contact forms over the years, there is a dynamic pdf the client can download and fill in once they hit send it gets mailed ;)

No anchors no ;)

You have amazing talent and creative ability keep up the good work !

Thank you :blush:

If that's your real mobile number i'm jealous that's so easy to remember haha. Very nice site I love the drawings and such a laid back approach to clients.

No its not lol! I wish it was haha!

My real one will go up when the site is live, same as the skype its panda_doodle not pandadoodle

nice idea. i'd drop all the info about your family and you dogs. honestly dont think anyone cares about that. your portfolio should be the most important part of the whole site and (although i know you havent inserted the imagery yet) i really sturggled to find where it was! i think you may need to restructure the order of it all. but like i said, its nicely design and well executed in parts, i think it just needs a tidy up in certain areas

Personal stuff works, why do you think so many people use twitter and facebook to post up crap about the lives ;) --- ohh look at me so defensive LOL.

Cheers for the feedback though :)

I'm not an ad agency or a web firm im a freelancer, it gives a more human approach don't you think?

Edited by pandadoodle

i personnally think its unncessary. people will start reading that and lose interest. its what happened with me when i viewed it. some info about yourself is good but i wouldnt bother with too much detail. but again its your call. if you think potential clients will want to read about your dogs then keep it in. i personally wouldnt bother.

I know what Al's saying. In this case i think the personal angle does work but i would tone it down a bit. Keep the more humorous stuff in their though!

Looks great though i must say.

...and Crunchies? :p

Cheers for the feedback guys, I'm just aiming to be personal and fun! Hence me going to networking events with a guy in a panda costume following me ;)

If it all fails ill tone it down a bit or if i ever go corporate which ever comes first

Ha! I resisted for 10 years think I'll be ok ;) .. plus designing in pants would not go down to well in an office environment

Watch out for spelling mistakes and grammar man.

ecommerce = eCommerce

experiance = experience

you business = your business

lable = label?

The whole text after "white lable" doesn't make sense, in my opinion.

ill = I'll

The italic text on the timeline section is too difficult to read for me

Its only a .jpg, I've enlisted a copywriter to take care of spelling, gammer and all sorts.

Thanks for the heads up though

Hi PandaDoodle

I also really like the design, not enough unique looking sites around these days or perhaps hard to find in the massive amounts of templates used.

The panda you use is cute ,but the use/lack of color makes it not too sweet and still acceptable for an older audience.

I think your personal stuff works as it is, not too much but enough to make you human, it always used to work on my resume, shows you are caring and responsible, which are invaluable traits.

My guess is that when you add content to your portfolio it will still be too small compared to the other elements on your page, I would personally spend some time trying to make it stand out a bit more.

Also the text in the contact area is almost the same color as the background and did hurt to concentrate.

Finally I would probably experiment with more images to fill up some white space in the dark blue container on top, perhaps a simple landscape/background for the panda?

Very nice design.

p.
