I like the look and feel of the site, but you do have a 'few' errors that'll need to be addressed, also have you cross-browser tested this yet?

I admit I like flash to, but the more I learn about css and javascript the more I think for most things like your using flash for you can always use javascript instead. Check out jquery and mootools.

Very nice design but I have to agree with prior comments, you should use a css only method to be considered a web professional. Also I'd have a copy writer or English major proof read your website for typos. Over all very appealing.

Thing about this it generally only has to happen once and then you'll make sure to back everything up and maybe even make a back up of the back up just to be safe. Sorry to hear about this, I feel your pain, while I finishing up my senior year of art school my laptop crashed on me, the hard drive wouldn't start up, I read online about how you can restore some hds by freezing them, I tried it out, it would boot but then get hung up. Maybe give it a try. Look it up online first, also now there is some pretty decent software out for hd rcovery.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I will be implementing a new logo and recreating the current project area of the site. Also I wanted to get everyone opinion on something... I was thinking of taking the portfolio section and adding pages to it when the visitors click the links from the main portfolio.html page they will go to the details for the project then be able to view the project or screen cap. This will add more overall pages to my website and increase my SEO efforts ( I Hope ). What does everyone else think? Good ideas? Also if you think there are other more important things I should address, please list them.

This is a pipe dream, On one hand we have companies that have yet to upgrade the browsers to ie7, making it so we still have to test our websites with ie6. With all this testing and the browser still being installed it is furthering the need to build for it. The latest browser stats don't good either http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

The new design a great improvement to usability with the navigation making a big difference here. One thing I noticed is the very top right menu is shifting to the far right when the browser window is resized. Over all a solid improvement, good work.

My 2cents is "You get what you pay for" If you want quality you pay for if your budget it 300-400$ you get what you pay for, also always check out the portfolio of the person you higher to see what level of product you will be getting.

WOW, I'm blown away by the design. Very well executed. Maybe you could make the bg a little less busy, seems like there is a grid bg with each square having a gradient in it. It's just a little distracting from the main content area, other than that very nice work indeed! BTW are you guys part affiliated with the US company http://www.truepresence.com/?

I would address the following: laying out the entire page with CSS adding a doc type wrapping the subnav in some kind of graphic to help it stand apart from the main copy on the home page, this seems to be running together in ff browser

I like the new one a lot more, I would just look into using images that go with each area for the headers so that they aren't randomly chosen when you go from page to page. But over all I really like the redesign compared to the portfolio page which I believe is the older version of the site.

I like the simplicity of the layout very easy to navigate through, the only that is a little odd to me is the validation button at the bottom that is blinking and how busy the header looks when compared to the layout. Your meta data looks good, when did you launch your website? As far as google page rank goes it can take 3-6 months to see any results. In the mean while look into setting up a google analytics account and web developer account and a sitemap.xml. These things will help you with your SEO efforts. Good Luck.

People can generally use firebug to view any external supporting scripts or specific css tags for page elements.

I really love what I do and how the online community is very helpful in regards to sharing their knowledge with everyone, and because of this I have really learned a lot in the past couple of years when it comes to web design. Well all those late nights have finally paid off, I have new portfolio website! YAY!! www.puredezigner.com I spent some time really trying to get everything right on this one, it's made with css - not tables, validates in css and xhtml, and the javascript based navigation degrades nicely when javascript is not loaded. I just want to see what everyone else thinks about it. How I can improve it to make visitors experience a more pleasant one. Thanks for your time and wisdom.

For some reason in FireFox the flash gets cut off, but other than that what a great first flash website!

What is a good reliable web host in the US? I am looking for a good reliable web hosting company located in the US to transfer my sites to, can anyone offer any suggestions for ones you use currently and ones you really like? Thanks in advance.
