I used to do abit of website designing/coding few years back. But past week ive got back into it, and decided to learn CSS. Please let me know what you think of this site, improvements, coding etc etc. Would help me out alot, thanks.

You're better off having your CSS in an external file and linking to it. The design isn't bad, just the diagonal lines look a bit dated.

Yeah i would do it externally, its just i wanted everyone to see the CSS coding, for feedback

People can generally use firebug to view any external supporting scripts or specific css tags for page elements.

Hey, just bumping this thread back as it didnt get much replies many months ago lol.

I like the glossy navigation bar and I think the background is fine.

 

I think with a better header design, the site could look good.. and perhaps some filler content to fill it out a bit more and make it look more interesting.

I really like the diagonal line background and the glossy menu, not mad keen on the header. I think because the site is black and white the blue in the header doesn't quite sit right with me, just my opinion though

The header would work in another design, but what you have made is pretty functional/recent, with that glossy navbar, so I'd suggest making a header that goes with the rest, and not the other way around.

Maybe try to loose the clouds, make the font lighter, and keep the "swirly" windy lines?
