Hello, Does anyone know what this error could mean; Error: 0 - php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known Best regards, Matt
  9. Unfortunately no matter what company you go with there is always something which could go wrong, unless you setup a fail over server. 99.99% uptime still means that your website could be down yearly of 52 minutes and 35.7 seconds
  10. Thanks for the replies so far @@Jack With Craft CMS is it possible to create the website using the free plan, then once the website has been created then moving it to the paid plan?
  11. Hello all, Hope you had a great Christmas and New year? I'm looking to get some advice on what CMS to use (Not wordpress please) which I can use for my clients websites, Something easy to use and customise to fit in with my clients sites. Not looking for something expensive or any monthly costs, open source would be ideal but security is a must. Sorry not that Im fussy! Best regards, Matt

Thanks for help that worked a treat While I understand its a messy way to do it, the website is very old and with lack of coding knowledge it will just have to do for the time being.

  20. Could you not install it in a sub domain on your current website? - Matthew
  21. Orange looks better I think! - Matthew
  22. There are some good web site builders out there, I wouldn't recommend those site builders you get free with your web hosting plan as those are simply cheap rubbish. A quick google search will give you a nice list - Matthew
  23. You should be avoiding any EIG brands, EIG is a company that acquires large web hosting businesses. They have a reputation for not providing the best service possible. A reseller account is a good path to take, its always recommend to give each website their own cPanel account (Better security) and £15-£30 a month sounds like a good budget. How much diskspace, bandwidth would you be looking for? I would be looking to avoid any unlimited providers as they do not exist and tend to just be oversold servers. Some options below; Vidahost is a well known UK hosting provider Unitedhosting another great web hosting provider, but is a little on the expensive side. - Matthew
  24. Welcome to the forums Poppy, look forward to seeing you around
