Logo feedback
It's gone from "you've got more experience being a designer so I'll leave the logo design up to you" to "I want a script font (RED on a yellow background!!) and a tinkerbell type image" Feel like hitting my head on the desk sometimes!

Logo feedback
Hiya, I've just sent it to them - just wanted to get some other opinions before I sent it over! I'm also designing their leaflets and business cards so the only issue I'm worried about is if they want the logo to be at the top of the page the text will be quite far down the because of the broom - Been trying to move it around but I think it looks best there!

Logo feedback
Morning everyone, I'm currently designing a logo for a Cleaning company - the only thing they've requested is that it is placed on a yellow background. I was hoping for some feedback about this logo, what do you all think? Thanks :-) logo 1 shine.pdf

Website rebranding
I've found that Fisheye do great websites, they always look very professional! http://fisheye-webdesign.co.uk/portfolio/ And Graphics and Print have a great creative design team for Company rebrands http://www.graphicsandprint.com/why-use-graphics-and-print/creative-design-agency These are just a couple of companies that I have used in the past, I'm sure there are lots of others out there too

Logo for Website
Looking back at the previous posts I think the purple monsters legs look a bit like fingers (Just me?) Love the new round orange version it's a lot more 'fun' for children's clothing and I think it would look great in other colours!

Hi guys, Thank you for your replies! That sounds like the same book 4li4s. Thankfully at the minute I can manage to squeeze in an hour a day - but when things get more hectic I think I'll be struggling. PixieWeb - I hope I don't have to break my foot to get my head around SEO I think I'm just confused how Page names and Keywords can boost page rankings! - all the page names are currently relevant to the content. Should they all contain the company name or is it better to have a variety of different titles? (eg, 'Page title - Company name', 'Page title - Company name, Location', 'Page title') Thanks for the links, I will check them out now

Hi PixieWeb, thank you for your reply! The book is written for self-starters within companies that want to take over control of their SEO, so it seemed perfect for what I needed! They don't expect you to have any experience in SEO and has different sections for B2B, B2C, Large Organizations, Small Organizations, and Brick-and-Mortar companies - so it covers a wide range of industries. They say (quite a lot) in the book that SEO is not rocket science and all you need is patience and willingness to learn - I have have both but just can't seem to get my head around it just yet - I'm hoping that the more I read it, the more I will understand it a bit better :/ fingers crossed!

Where can I Learn Illustrator?
Try online tutorials such as Vector Tuts+ (as also suggested by 4li4s) and those on Creative Bloq are great too! Sketching your logo ideas is always the best way to start and then develop them in Illustrator (or Photoshop). If you type into Google 'logo tutorial' you'll find a wide range of step by step tutorials to help you Good luck!!

Need Advice on Starting a New Brand
Hi cab322003, do you not like the idea of combining the custom lettering and vector illustration? It could be quite a unique service - and the final outcome would definitely be bespoke for clients. If you do decide you want to make two separate brands, you could always link them to each other (for example post about vector illustrations on your custom lettering twitter). Or if you want to focus mainly on custom lettering you could offer vector illustrations as an additional service. I don't think anyone can tell you the right thing to do, it's just what you think it right and what you'd be happiest doing! I hope you figure it out
