ok think i'll re-read that again...its the tec side i dont have much to do with ...its all very interesting though...this nubie designer is using notepad have you heard of that software? i thought dreamweaver was a more recognised one...have you heard of notepad?...wonder if he should try something more easy to start off with ? thanks again for your help ! nye

hi there, brill thanks for all that info ...so 1024 pixels wide and with a graduated background into white.....can i check the aspect ratio for web design is 1026 x768 pixels and the resolution is 72 dpi.? thanks again i'll get busy ... take care nye

morning all...first post maybe wrong place but...so i'm a tv designer starting on web dsign...i have done visuals and sending them to a nubie web designer. i'm sending them in jpeg format three layers... the background already flattened and saved....some pictures another layer ...and a window key so he can add tweet messaging .... is this how right will he be able to composite the layers and size them without resolution problems...? and when i save the designs..i save with save for web funtion is that right and make it the width of the page ... what size should a web page be... i'm working in photoshop/mac by the way...and its all i've got ... i know its not the right way to do this but this is just a rough to get the site active and to get tweets going and the company up and out there... i'd be very grateful to all positive helpful posts thanks so much nye
