Hi there Tristan. What's your MMORPG being coded in, if you don't mind me asking....

Is This Text Clear Enough To Read?
Hi Evis, It looks fine to me. You should really take notbanksy's advice though and make the container fluid. Anybody that has their browser set to display larger fonts will see the text break outside of it's containing div. Cheers.

Ok, added some rivets as a background image to make the left hand side a bit more interesting...

I think that should work now. Obviously still a work in progress.....

You read my mind, Dizi. That's precisely what I was going to do. I'll post it back up when it works across resolutions. Thanks.

Thanks Dizi. I might see what it looks like with a background color and font-change.

No, not at the moment.

Will do, Dizi. Yes, the logo is a bit of a nightmare, I know. I do have the original file for it, but it needs some touching up and that is most definitely not my strong point.

All done with CSS.

Hey everybody. I've decided to give an old site site of mine a bit of a facelift. http://www.hjssolutions.com/Sites/Oceans. Now, you'll need to view this in 1024 x 768 for the time-being. I've been working on this for a couple of hours and would like to get some early feedback. TIA.

What do you think of the new design?

Feedback & Critique wanted !
I think that your colleague does you a disservice. I really like it's simplicity.

Thanks Eggman. I was toying with the idea of giving credit to iStock for the images that I bought, but decided against it...the link you saw shouldn't have gone on, I'd forgotten to remove it (it was only on the homepage). Anyway, the site is finished now and I'm quite pleased with it.

I suppose no news is good news! :-)

Well, it's 01:15am and I (think!) I've finsished tinkering with the layout and stuff now. I just need to add some small links to the footer for a site map, terms etc and need to add my meta tags for SEO. Does anybody have any comments to make on the final (I hope) design?? Thanks to all those that have made comments already (both on this thread and the old one)....your advice has been invaluable to me.

Many thanks to everybody that's left comments thus far, I really appreciate it. I had a quick tinker with it last night and have changed the slime green colour to a more subtle shade, made it a bit wider too. I think it now looks a lot fresher and a tad more professional, so thanks for your great advice everybody. This has caused another couple of minor issues that I need to sort out (with the top left image on the Newsletter page for instance), but I'll iron those out this weekend. Thanks again.

Lists of new businesses and start ups in the UK.
Yes it does. However, I would question the validity and accuracy of some of your data. Your link lists businesses that have registered in March 2008. Sports Direct in Shirebrook has been there and trading for nearly 2 years, and the Residential home in Sutton in Ashfield has been there for as long as I can remember!! Regards, Lee

Cracking advice as usual wizely. I've just changed the background color to use the brown in the tree trunk of the logo, but I don't like it. I'll revisit this tomorrow as it's 12:30am and I've been staring at a monitor all day!! I should be able to post up some changes tomorrow. Many thanks.

I've swapped the colours around a bit now, so that hopefully users will not get eye strain from the bright green. I toyed around with a more pastel shade of green but I didn't think that it complimented the sharp green in the logo.
