Javascript image mouseover thingy ?!
Hi, I;m trying to make something similar to the javascript image mouseover effect that you get here: http://www.cnet.com/?tag=hdr I'm not entirely sure what you would call it or how you would begin to make one - Any ideas or suggestions on a good tuitorial ? I;m almost certain that it's been raised as a topic before - apologies if it has ! Thanks

And another one.....
I knocked the following site up over the last few days - Its a personal project for a site that i've had for many years. when the site first started there were a few of us managing and updating. It was a bit of a monster in terms of layout etc, but we got a lot of traffic so we weren't too fussed. A few more years down the line and its just me left trying to bring it back to life with my limited coding and design skills. I was really inspired by the Juvenorge site that i saw here a few weeks back, and it convinced me to bring the site back. Big thanks to SonoJuventino for that. So, here's the original from way back in 2002 : http://web.archive.org/web/20030807145856/...www.juvefc.com/ Here's the redesign i frantically put together over the last few late nights: http://www.juvefc.info/test/ Its table intensive, but the CSS is a little tidier than before. When i get a moment to breathe, i plan to update it and make it standards compliant. Thanks again

Some new Sites for Feedback
Phew, been a busy few weeks since i last posted a message on here. Once again, many thanks for the great feedback on the Morphehs site i redesigned. After much deliberation, some heated exchanges and lots of beer we finally managed to get the site into gear and are redeveloping it as we speak. EHS Regulations finally went live and you can see it here: http://www.ehsregulations.com In a similar vein, i worked up a redesign of our products and suppliers site as well. Original : http://www.ehsdirectoryservices.com/ Revision (still to be tested, fully coded, etc.) : http://www.webacorn.com/testarea/ps/ (Main Page) http://www.webacorn.com/testarea/ps/listing.html (Listing page) http://www.webacorn.com/testarea/ps/subscription.html (Subscription page) For vanity's sake, i also built a little one page site for our network of websites: http://www.morphehsnetwork.com As always, would love to hear feedback as it really helped on the last two projects

Arrrggghhhh ! One and One !
Having a total nightmare of a day thus far - My colleague has told me is not too fond of the redesign i've done, thus resigning a weeks work to the scrap heap. Going to try and salvage some of it for another project Anyays, whilst moving over the last of our files and documents from our old server, i have now realised that one and one offer no MySQL databases as part of their home hosting package. I've been with at least 10 different hosts, but never come across such utter bllx. I;m now stuck trying to sort out our discussion forum, but without an SQL database. I was set on using PHPbb, but it looks like this may not be possible. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a way out of this scrape ??????

Fooooooottttbbbballllll !
C'mon, you have to admit that Everton play very decent football - They are not a team that sit back on a lead - I don;t like Andy Johnson, but Yakkers is an inspired signing. Piennar is also very creative, along with Cahill and Arteta. Lescott is by far the best defender in the premiership at the moment - better than Rio whatshisname, John thingymajig, and country mile better than William 'the Galass is half empty'. Besides, i hate liverpool !b

Wahey ! Another member of the 'Hate Liverpool' faction - Can't stand them myself, but as a Juve supporter, that goes without saying. Cracking team Everton, great manager and they play very attractive football.

Updateted design at Juvenorge.com (v2)
Excellent stuff, i love the site - the best Juventus one i have seen in looong time ! I'm looking forward to seeing it when it goes live. I have to say, the logo from Version 4 is good, but the version 3 one is even better. I love the red and white against the black background

Another site, some more feeback wanted !
Outstanding stuff brother - that site is gorgeous. I had a site of my own for a while (Juvefc.com) - we were really big a few years back - It was very basic, pure HTML but we had a huge following. I had to take it down beacuse of the image rights and other stuff. We were contacted by Juve Solicitors who demanded payment of 35,000 EUR for copyright infringement and loads of other stuff. I have to be honest, that site is one of the best i have seen in a long time - The layout, colour choice and of course the content is incredible. From a personal point of a view, i wouldn't change a thing. Well done for adding the disclaimer, its VERY important to the club etc. Good job So, what do you think about us singing Amauri ? Thank God we have not sold Giovinco, he is the natural successor to ADP. Next season looks very bright for the Gobbini !

Fooooooottttbbbballllll !
Football a rubbish game !??!! Surely not To be honest, i think the game has taken a dramatic turn for the worse in recent years, the billionaire foreign owners have seen to that. Liverpool, Manchester United, the farce that is Chelski FC, Man City, Birmingham, west Ham and even Newcastle (despite their domestic owner) have made a right royal balls up of the game (Excuse the pun) by nabbing all the best players in the game (not to mention the young talent), offering them ludicrous salaries and leaving the 'smaller' clubs with feck all. Perhaps the only example in the premiership of a half way decent run club is Aston Villa. Despite Randy Learner being an 'overseas' owner, he has done his absolute best to leave MON to his business and not stuck his nose in. The italian game lacks none of the drama and pantomime of the premiership, but by the same token, their game is more of an 'opera' than a 'rock concert'. Phew, i'll take a breath now....

Fooooooottttbbbballllll !
I did look around and couldn't see any other topic's related to the greatest sport on the planet ! Just wandering if we have any passionate supporters on here ? I'm a Reading lad (born and bred) and have supported them for a decade. My first love is the Italian game though (don't ask me why !) I'm a passionate Juventus supporter and have been for donkeys years. My username comes from a rather (in)famous Juventus player - a lifelong Juventino, Enzo Maresca (who currently plies his trade in Seville) famously celebrated a goal against our arch intercity rivals Torino (merda) by imitating a bull (their symbol) right in front of the bench. Ever since, the lad has been my footballing hero. Despite never getting a chance at Juventus, being traded around by our nuisance management and his 'fiery comments' about the club Enzino is a highly talented midfielder. Rant over In the footballing world, it looks like Mancini has been removed from the Inter bench, and The special one is now a firm favourite to Irritate Italian football fans worldwide. Personally, i cannae wait for next season. We have Champions league football to look forward to, and a portuguese tactician to silence ! Ale, Ale, Ale !!!!!!
