How people are offering facebook likes with out admin login?
You only need to look on fiverr dot com for these type of services, and far as I know they use bots, and most likely at some point those accounts will be banned and you know what... most likely your likes Good Honest way of getting likes, well not completely honest but meh Register like 3 FB accounts, register to all the zynga games, Build Friends 5k on each then simply ask people to click the like button BINGO

Problem installing WordPress - Any help?
I see many people installing local LAMP servers, hosting is pretty cheap these days, infact most come with a dozen of free addon domains. Info domains are like £1.00 each for a whole year, I buy test-site-example.info, and on the server I use .htaccess to block every IP apart from my own. That means I don't have to mess around with a local web server, and everything is tested on a real webserver and most likely the one you will install too any how. My 2 Cents.

Need A Static IP Solution
The above method only works on ISPS which allow that, most force release after X amount of days normally after you lose your connection. You have tons of ways to resolve this 1) Purchase a Static PRIVATE VPN 2) Purchase a Private Static Proxy, ones that do not rotate IPS every 30days 3) Free method #1, work out how your IP changes for example lets pretend my ip is 91.242.82.2 Every X amount of days my IP will be released, you should be able to find out how often your ISP releases your IP by the following ways, loggin into the router and look at the DNS and check the release date, many will include this, or ring your ISP and ask how often the IP is released back, and new one assigned (Most are 2 weeks). Once you know when your IP releases montier the range it switches too For example, most ISPS will only rotate the last 2 numbers, 91.242.X.X X's being the new numbers so you could add an allow rule on 91.242.*.* of course this could open your machine to attack to other people within the same IP range but this is extremely unlikely. 4) Free Method #2, instead of adding a IP range add your domain record, for example many will look like this 91-242.92-2.bourne.virginmedia.com bourne = Bournemouth would be the location you live in, normally they shorten it, so you could add something like this !@bourne.virginmedia.com again this means you could be attack by people in bournemouth only but again extremely unlikely. 5) Free Method #3 Properly secure your server, there is really no need to block IP's and Only allow some, Use TLS and use proper good passwords, if its a linux box you should disable root, and only enable keyless logins via secure keyfiles. This is by far the best method, using 2048bit keys, stops more hackers than blocking IPS. Hope this helps

Few minor problems with site
There are many problems with this website and without sounding rude, id be surprised if you got any traffic from search engine searches since you have no keywords, no meta desc, and the keywords on pages are not in the title, there are many element problems on the page as the above poster said. I appreciate that not everyone has the money to get a website design professional made, however if you are serious about this website I would strongly recommend or carry on seeking advice as your doing but as said above the problem your mentioning is one of maybe over 50 on the page As I advised a professional designer, if you simply do not have the funds, then you could WordPress. While it wont be as good as professional designer using a template will resolve some of your issues, especially SEO ones. Best of luck, and hope this helps.

Anchor CMS
Hey Again, here you go. 1) As you can see theirs a little discolored square, rather minor but a quick fix could be. footer#bottom { border-top: 50px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2); Removing that line completely, and increase your padding-top like so, footer#bottom { padding-top: 70px; Now the icon in the rooter on the right side will not be aligned so that will need changing, so change this code. add footer#bottom a#attribution { margin-top: 55px; Please ignore 2) displayed in photo this was caused by me changing code Maybe not the best fix, but it works Hope this helps sorry for pointing out the little things

menu positioning problem
First off you have 2 headers, <Header> and Div Header, not sure why you would want to use 2. It's better to provide the site in question so we can use firebug on it and give you a direct answer, I personally rather do that than shifting though all your code

advice on laptop please
Helps if you tell us how you plan to use the laptop on a daily basis as it could be better to go for a lower spec with a higher screen quality, or a higher spec with not so high spec screen and so forth.

New wireless printer
When picking a printer you need to think about costs of ink's if you plan to get a inject one, if its a laser then cost of toner. Printers are cheap, Inks/Toners are not, so this is one of the most important questions. Some printers charge more as they have the heads included with in the ink, if you want a printer which will last longer then go with a printer which has the heads built into the inks so everytime you change ink you get a new head, HP as normally have heads in the inks, epson do not, but you need to check model as its not always. Also, avoid bluetooth printers, not only are they lame they are old And it depends what you want to do on it, imo laser if its for black and white prints as you can buy toner replacement kits off ebay with chip... SUPER CHEAP! BUT SUPER MESSIE AND RECOMMEND DOING IT OUTSIDE Dunno if you seen the toner before, but its the lightest substance i've ever seen, one lite blow on a cup full of the stuff emptys half the cup, its crazy stuff. Hope this helps.

SEO Question
WebDesignBournemouth replied to webdeveloper93's topic in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) & Search EnginesPR sadly does not affect rankings, it does however tell you that the page is well linked too from outside sources and Google finds it high quality meaning it can move along at long faster. Build links, if you want that page to move a long, or add content to the page so that people automaticly link to it.

meta tags
Extremely important! Changing metas can even drop your rankings.

Help! I need the opposite of SEO!
Just wait, everything will index and reindex in good time, Google is'nt changing anything because its not yet done a full skim on your site and due to the fact its been outdated for donkeys it'll take longer. Submitting a new XML to Google is just a myth to speed up re-indexing they even have a disclaimer about this, if you seriously want your site reindexed faster BUILD links to the new pages from good relevant sites which actually do get scanned, this can cause Google to follow the link. Google looks for things going viral so if you build links to new pages on your site, it will notice.

Replacing a website... Same page URLs
WebDesignBournemouth replied to McGarryMA's topic in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) & Search EnginesEven if it's the same content, changing the engine can drop your SERPS, and Site rank. Many people opt to have their site slowly changed over for this reason. Even if the URLS the same, a new CMS is new coding.

.co.uk in US searches
Do you have a listed address on both? and do you mention united kingdom on the UK a few times, and united states on the other. Google determines GEO on various factors, not just one... not everyone knows that a UK host is better than US if your targetting UK so google values that as a very minor factor, and since clouds can be anywhere its even less important. I strongly recommend you use content to allow google to determine the GEO, and not that of use of domain/geo settings and hosting. I've had many of mine .co.uk be top for serps in the US visitors outranking .com If you do not want to physically allow people to see the address then you could use a invisible tag. Using the LAT Tag should work, but other can value SEO rankings. <div class="custom" > <div class="vcard"><span class="fn org">ByBe Bournemouth Web Design</span> <div class="adr"> <p class="px"><span class="street-address">NAME Road</span><br /> <span class="locality">Bournemouth</span><br /> <span class="region">Dorset</span><br /> <span class="postal-code">POSTCODE</span><br /> <span class="country-name">United Kingdom</span></p> </div> <span class="geo"> <span class="latitude"> <span class="value-title" title="50.7245831"> </span> </span> <span class="longitude"> <span class="value-title" title="-1.8556509"> </span> </span> <span>Bournemouth Tel: 01202 000000<br /> International Tel: <span class="tel">+44 </span><br /> UK Tel: 000000</span> <span><br /> Email: asdasddotcasd.com</span></span>

Google SERP mixed for different users
Normally caused by signing into Google, golden rule of thumb use another browser for checking rank what you don't normally use. I use Internet Explorer It's also worth mentioning results can vary depending on ISP used as well, for example take virgin media for example, a ISP address may have adsj211.bourne.virginmedia.com if you notice the bourne, this indicates that I'm using a ISP in Bournemouth, Google has been known to filter results based on area of location, not just country.

Anyway to get pages "un-indexed" by google?
I hear this a lot but I thought I would share. Nofollow has no effect on what gets index'd and noindex while its ok to use its not the best method, infact many ignore it. Use robots.txt to quickly remove pages, webmaster tools takes awhile and even has a disclaimer it doesnt promise anything. Anytime your site is 'SKIMED' it doesnt read your site map, and doesnt read all pages.. HOWEVER it does read robots.txt everytime. So add the url to the robots.txt and thats it

noindex, nofollow
WebDesignBournemouth replied to BrowserBugs's topic in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) & Search EnginesNofollow does not stop bots following the link, it prevents juice being passed. Noindex will stop the bots indexing the page into their cache, however it will still scan that page. If you want to stop it scanning a page all together use robots.txt But as far as nofollow, and no index bots will still follow the link regardless as on the other site you may have other links which are not nofollow, or noindex Hope this helps. If you are having problems with bandwidth, change provider, if your finding pages not being index'd then this is a general problem for everyone. I suggest you build a few links, and even ping them to get the page index'd by Google. Using Nofollow, Noindex will have no affect how fast your site gets index'd.
