January 13, 201214 yr So i have a question my site has around 200 results in google, and a google page rank of 4, my question is how many results in google should u have before seeing a huge increase in traffic.. thanks in advance The more pages you have, usually the better to capture more keywords and you'll often find some pages get visits from long tail keywords. However, you don't say where you're ranking in the search engines, or for what keywords? You might have a website with 200 pages, but if they're ranking for a low volume keyword then you won't be getting many visitors at all. So having a PR of 4 and 200 pages wont magically get you thousands of visitors a day.

January 13, 201214 yr i don't have 200 pages, i have 200 results, but with my blog and website combined only about 50 pages, im assuming some results are repeated in google or something. If you have 50 pages and are getting 200+ results then something is very wrong and I would be seriously worried about duplicate content and the possible negative effect it could be having on your site as a whole.
January 13, 201214 yr To add, it really does not matter how many pages you have, how many search results are returned in google. None of this is going to give you a magic answer to increase your traffic. I would be concentrating on making sure each page/result has meaningful, interesting content and that a relevant, descriptive title tag and description appear in googles search results. You are more likely to get a high click-through rate with a good, well thought out and relevant title than with 50 random, poorly described results.

But thanks for the advice anyways and i have had people purchase a product from my site quite a few people i just wanna increase the sales more thats all so i can quit my day job so to speak
January 14, 201214 yr Is it possible to see the site in question? As far as I am aware, google will only index a page/post once in the index, so if you have a maximum of, say, 50 pages then you could only ever have 50 results directly linking to your site...
January 30, 201214 yr I would be concentrating on assembly sure each page/result has meaningful, remarkable content and that a relevant, descriptive title tag and description become visible in googles search results. You are more likely to get a high click-through rate with a good, well thought out and relevant title than with 50 random, poorly described results.
January 31, 201214 yr If you have 50 pages and are getting 200+ results then something is very wrong and I would be seriously worried about duplicate content and the possible negative effect it could be having on your site as a whole. If the site in question is a wordpress site, then the site will have individual page urls for each category, and sometimes even an individual page for tags. I find it is very common to have a lot more pages listed than individual posts or pages. Thanks
February 22, 201214 yr PR sadly does not affect rankings, it does however tell you that the page is well linked too from outside sources and Google finds it high quality meaning it can move along at long faster. Build links, if you want that page to move a long, or add content to the page so that people automaticly link to it.
February 23, 201214 yr .. right out the big list of generic seo crud to sput out on forums. Bravo, not. "assembly sure"? Google Translated generic SEO crud to boot.
