Yes you can. And if it's sausage factory work then you may be OK.
And you will spend ages fixing everything. They are great at installing a theme and bolting on umpteen plugins but ask then to do anything creative or to optimise to site so it checks all of Google's boxes and they will fall at the first hurdle.

They can install WP and Woo and do a bit of configuration but don't expect them to take your designs and build a theme.
I've never found someone trustworthy with the necessary skills. But you might be lucky and find a decent developer.

Or if sticking with menucool you might want to check the update, your code is v2016.3.3, current version is v2017.3.17. But as @Jack said from scratch might be easier and would avoid future version issues.

Reciprocal linking can get you into all sorts of problems so is best avoided.
 
If you want links that add value (SEO or traffic) then you have to earn them or pay for them.
 
The general rule is: the easier a link is to obtain, the lower the value of that link.

It seems to me that creative thinking is required because different sites and different subjects need different approaches. What I mean is for instance some sites are very niche and there are only one or two specific places where you need to get links in place. Some sites have content of the right nature to justify linking from Wikipedia or you might target .edu or .gov domains. Sometimes it has to be commercial directory type lists or local blogs. Sometimes you can get a link from a newspaper site or the local BBC.
 
My sites are always local and small concerns and I am often trying to get just a small number of well placed links to give the site an advantage. I imagine trying to work on national or international businesses especially those that are highly competitive in search results is a different thing altogether.

User registration is built in...You can use Buddy Press to add more profile fields for teachers and students.
 
You can integrate Booking software for the courses. booking software comes with the payment gateway. Why do u need World Clock?

To add to the response above try and avoid plugins on WP too unless you can absolutely guarantee their quality. Poorly written plugins are what can make WP insecure, and everything a plugin does you can do yourself. Not saying never use them, but be very selective on the ones you do.

Check their plugins etc for known issues and make sure they are up to date
 
Most the time it was because of files that have been injected into the server, so the first thing I would do is to do a backup of the whole site, including the database, then I would draw out the database and template on the server setting them aside, lastly to would delete the whole lot.
 
Next job would be to try to make sure this would not happen again, change all passwords, including the database, I would use a very exaggerated and long password for the database and server in order to prevent hacking techniques like rainbow tables.
 
Then upload a fresh copy of Wordpress and re-integrate the template and database, if the issues still exists I would look into the database for rogue code and remove it.
 
If after all that there are still issues, they still have access to the server and it may be a host problem so you need to either change or have words with them, but not before checking the server records and double checking the plugins, - to check the plugins I would uninstall them all for a month, if nothing happens I would re activate one at a time.

Agreed low quality link exchanges blow, worthless. But I do feel that the scare tactics of link building has trashed the reputation of B2B relational linking. It also was getting abused, Chicago based pizza companies linking with London Cafes at best, not sustainable at all if this is the tactic but then the whole back links carrot is something that causes abuse anyhow. But then that's what has happened to the whole 'article' seo frenzy; someone thought 'ohhh there's a loop hole lets jump through' and boom, Google had an update and they all brown their tighty whities and try to rectify the damage.
 
For reciprocal links it's down to 'would you recommend this website to your user base and does it have any bearing or relevance to your content?'. If I am a certified member of say checkatrade would it benefit my user to be able to verify this? And if I was a registered member of checkatrade would it not look odd to the search engines if I added rel="nofollow" aka 'I do not trust this link' to the very organisation that I claim to be a member of? If most of your outbound links are nofollow then wouldn't that raise the question as to why the link is there? The best way to seal up comment spam is to remove links back to anything other than their twitter / google / facebook / linked in profiles and disable html in the comments rather than rel nofollow the links.

Create backlinks from the social media site. They will help you to bring high value of traffic with good bounce rate if you have good followers.

I use this method, directly related but non rival. So if your site for example is a property developer (building) then links with companies that sell furnishings is a good place to start. It also increases referral traffic.
 
One client gets around 90 quality referrals from a link with a performance parts supplier as my client offers performance modifications and a lot of people buying the parts don't really know how to fit them so the link is worth more than the traditional 'back link juice'. It also helps when contacting potential link partners as when you email them make a point of mentioning what they offer which you do not and they will see the benefit.

No worries, it may be worth adding display: block; to the textarea and text inputs too.
 
Do you ever use inspect element in Chrome? It's great for debugging this kind of stuff.

I would suggest removing those floats in favor for display: block; and display: inline-block;.

Exact match domains used to be powerful. Google would yse the domain name to determine the brand name for the overall website. It meant that it would stop people put ranking nike for the keyword "nike" etc.
 
With that in mind, Google gives weight to any keywords that are in the domain. So if you have "touring van hire" in your domain, youd be given a little more weight than a generic domain.
 
You have to be careful here because google have actually been playing around with emd's just lately. They dialled them back and now it seems theyre back rankong how they used to. Bear that in mind.
 
Having said that, so long as your have thick quality content on your website and a powerful set of backli ks, you wont come into to much of a problem. Why? Because if your links are strong enough then any emd devalution will just be a blip.
 
It also means your can build quite a few more exact keyword anchors. If someone linked naturally to your website they would most likely use yor brand name. In this case, your brand name is the domain. So if the majority of your li ks were touring van hire then its not as unnatural if 90% of your keyword rich anchors pointed to a generic domain.
 
With regards to forwarding, make sure its a 301 redirect as that passes all link juice. Then that way any links to the generic domain are passed on.
 
Good question about which domaon to link to. Primarily the main domaon but a few to the generic domain wont hurt.

Good question. I know having keywords in your domain name use to help quite a bit. I have used it myself and B&Q who must have spent a lot of money on SEO opted for the domain name www.diy.com so it must have been worth doing. You can also see those words boldend in the search results, so by that you can tell Google recognises those words. You can also argue that by having those keywords in your domain name is the ultimate commitment towards those search results.
 
However Google have tried to get more natural results over the years and by looking at this logically, Google may have given this less of a ranking factor over the years as a result of trying to stop people manipulating the system and skipping to the top of the search results.
 
So my opinion is that it may help having keywords in a domain name, but probably not by much. Jason Dexter maybe able to shed more light on this and give a more definate answer than me.
 
Personally I would go with the company name, as clients or customers looking to find the company are more likley to remember that domain name, but I'm sure others may think differenlty.

Well if you have done 301 redirects through each of the domains pointing to the main one then the link juice does get passed through, however it will not be quite as effective.
 
I remember when I changed the name of my directory a few years back and did a 301 redirect. The Page Rank dropped down by one and there was a dip in the search engines for a while.
 
Personally I would try and get them to directly link to www.touringvanhire.com
 
Also some people might ask why you want them to link to one domain name, when they get redirected through to another. It might put them off.

I know like Google is going to penalise websites for linking to each other. Google must expect related websites are going to to link to each other.
 
The point is its not about exchanging links, but who you are linking too. If you are linking to an unrelated website or one with too many outgoing links on a page, or one with a bad reputation then you may incur a penalty.
 
I have a directory specifically related to the web design industry and naturally the exchange of links is very common. Ever since I started it I have heard this nonsense without ever hearing any evidence.

Really you should at least try and learn some of the basics. But start with what you know perhaps and just deal with each issue as it arises.

id's has another function that classes doesn't.

ID's and classes are treated differently. ID's carry more weight than classes in a stylesheet.
 
For example if my mark-up was as follows:
<div id="one" class="two">Raa</div> #one { color: red; } .two { color: blue; } My font color would appear red http://jsfiddle.net/jack_pallot/wyGx6/
 
ID's also have a hash value, browsers can use these to point to specific part of your page (like an anchor).
 
ID's are the most efficient selector performance wise, then class, then tag.
 
So there are a few differences between them. Ultimately you might come unstuck using classes for everything, because your stylesheet changes will affect other elements on the site, what can seem like a time saving idea can quickly become a mess.

It's just taking a bit of time to load but it seems to work as expected.
