Hi All, I've been working on this website www.ibogainehotline.com and the responsive navigation system mostly seems to work but it has one strange glitch... On smaller screen sizes it turns into a burger icon that you click on and you can see all the main navigation links drop down. Fine, perfect that bit works. But the strange thing is that when you click a link to go to another page, the navigation text from the fullwidth responsive design pops up again and stays there for several seconds as the page loads. I added the following code into the CSS editor. So now at least the fullwidth navigation does eventually disappear. We are using a code snippet widget from Lodgify on our Wordpress site. It has a terrible design that has writing appearing over the picture. Not good readability. We would like to move that writing over to the right. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY remove the SQM 1 bit. I've fiddled with the CSS but not had any luck. I don't think its insulting when you think about exchange rates (as opposed to cost of living -two things that are not related). This is just taking advantage of currency exchange rates. I live in Mexico and therefore I can only charge my clients $30 USD an hour anyway. I have to find someone cheaper, not more expensive, than me for this to work.

Can you recommend me any good sausage factories? That might suffice. I just want to reduce my personal hours really. I can do a bit of tidying up and planning.

Most of it is fairly straight forward Wordpress stuff. Some sites make use of WooCommerce or other Database things. So generally its sausage factory. I will probably still take care of initial design direction.

I've heard you can hire freelancers there for $5-$15 USD an hour. I will send them briefs, designs and a theme and double check the work before it goes out.

Is there some easy way to include a clients Airbnb profiles (with booking calendars etc) on our Wordpress site. I know it used to exist but it seems that the code snippet is no longer offered from within Airbnb.... Any ideas on what that code snippet was or on other ways to do this? I spent several months trying to come up with a proposal they would go with. I showed them a ton of wordpress, magento etc sites templates and themes that would've been excellent but they really wanted to stay with this one... I've already spent over 30hours just getting it this far. It's pretty ridiculous. I've got it pretty far along but now Its showing up ok on the computer and when I use Google Inspector to show as a mobile size it looks ok, but it doesn't display on my actual mobile. It's almost perfect but there is something that is stopping it displaying now on mobile sized screens. I can't see what it is. Either its behind something or its not displaying at all. Totally stumped. I'm going to get this bit done, and again beseech them to go with something modern.

Is there some way to do it entirely within the CSS? The menu system has been setup in a strange way and ideally I think it should be done from within the CSS

What would be an easy way to make a DIV disappear when another button is clicked on in the drop down menu system? It uses ul and li structure, although its also has container DIVS and things... Thanks

Hi All, I've been asked to do some work on a pretty archaic legacy website, that is a mash up of lots of different languages, coding styles and hacks put in by different people over the years. http://spldev.sanpancholife.com The website was made (badly) responsive and some parts aren't working well, especially the sub menus in the drop down menus. I am trying to fix this without doing a total CSS overhaul. So far I've managed to achieve a lot of success with getting it to display ok on mobile sized screens. BUT I have two problems. One when you click on Vacation Rentals, the quick search box (and the pop up date picker within it) display badly with part of the left hand side disappearing off the side of the screen. I've been trying to figure this out and I just can't see whats doing that. Any ideas? The other issue is that the dropdowns don't disappear unless you click a second time on the dropdown header. This gets confusing as the dropdowns end up layering up if you don't close them. Both these issues refer to the mobile screen sizes. Thanks in advance for the advice Guys! Rich

Ok so I know that this has changed a lot over the years. But I thought I would just see where it is now (as far as you guys know). Backlinks and reciporcal linking does still have some value right? Obviously only with related websites though. And probably best to work them in as articles or something right? Maybe on a blog page? Any good resources for places to acquire quality links? Regarding the testimonials, it would be cool to have testimonials for the different mentors on the website. Can you recommend any wordpress themes etc that would be good starting points? Or libraries where I could browse them? I've only really used Wordpress for standard 'brochure' type websites, and all the more complex ones have been bespoke and built from scratch, so any pointers welcome here.
