Storyboards
I second this, it's a really cool interactive storyboard! As for the design, it's incredible buddy. I really like it! The navigation drop-down looks sweet, but I can't put a finger on which background looks the best. probably the fishing pier!

Finding motivation in life
I think I might try your writing a list of really simple goals KCooper. Instead of writing out a small list of big tasks I need to accomplish today, I'll break them down even further. Cheers for your input guys, some great stuff! Take it easy, Jasbery

Move menu to the left
Hey MikeP, I managed to get it to centre in Firefox by changing this: .anylinkmenu ul li a{ width: 100%; to this; .anylinkmenu ul li a{ margin-left: -30px; I'm not entirely sure if that's the best way to go about it though. To be honest I'm still learning this stuff, and someone with more experience will probably post a much better way of doing it! Also, not sure if it would work in all browsers, as I'm just messing around with the edit css tool in FF Web Developer! Best of luck mate

External Hard-Drive

You Know You’re a Freelancer When…
the reader added one of "You’ve memorized the wifi hotspots in every part of town." is sadly too true for me. I had to go nearly 2 month's without internet earlier this year... bad times

What do you design in....
I currently use Photoshop CS3 and Notepad ++, but I've been getting into Illustrator recently, and hoping to use if for logo design etc in the future.

Classes Vs Non OOP way
I have only ever programmed using procedural php. I bought 'PHP Objects, Patterns & Practise' in order to learn Object oriented PHP, but I have not found time to learn it yet maybe in the next week!

Great design buddy, looks awesome! Take it easy, Jasbery

What's the web missing?
That maybe true, but sometimes it's good to look at things that already exist and find better ways of doing them, or find a problem that exists within one of them, and try solving it! Keep your head up Evisions, and try creating a mind-map of everything you like to do and want to accomplish in life and I'm sure idea's will start coming to you. Take it easy, Jasbery

What else do you do?
If I have some spare time and money i'll go for a ride on my motorcycle! Other than that just web stuff and sleeping. I also have an old race bicycle frame that I want to turn into a fixed gear bike, but that projects been on hold a while now! I'll get round to it eventually...

New portfolio website
I haven't really got a leg to stand on, as I'm still learning how to design websites myself but I agree with the above that picture is scary. Other than that though, I have to say it is a pretty unique design(in a good way!). I have never seen anyone else style their website like a magazine. Good job mate, I like it!

best browser
Personally I use google Chrome all the time, only ever use other browsers when testing design compatibility.

List of Recommended Web Design and Development Books
There are so many books I should read on PHP, im now considering buying the PHP & MYSQL Bible when the next student loan comes in. Anyhow, I am studying a Human-Computer Interaction unit for my degree, which covers GUI/User Experience design. Some of the books I would recommend on the subject are; The Elements of User Experience: User-Centered Design for the Web and Beyond by Jesse Garrett - Good as an overall look at the subject of user centred design, doesn't go into much detail on each subject but it definitely helped my understanding of the subject. you can take a look at one of the chapters here: http://www.jjg.net/elements/pdf/elements_ch02.pdf Graphical User Interface Design & Evaluation by Redmond-Pyle & Alan Moore - Pretty old now(released in 1995), but has a lot of interesting information in it, some of which is out of date, but a lot of it is quite useful! You can pick it up for next to nothing second hand on Amazon or Waterstones marketplace. Information Architecture: Blueprints for the Web by Christina Wodtka - A great book on information architecture, 'organizing web site content so that it can be found, designing web site interaction so that it's pleasant to use and creating an interface that is easy to understand'. Take it easy, Jasbery

First Ever Website Macot
that's brilliant, especially as it's your first try at a mascot! I'm currently working on my first, it's looking nowhere near as good!

I think I'm definitely going to be using it in the future!
