  1. Thanks man it worked!
  2. What script is that?? Id be interested in that! I would use a transparent watermark(logo) with a slight bevel and drop shadow. Its harder for them to get rid of then. You can also disable right clicking on your pages, though if some one really wanted the image they could find ways.
  3. Hi all, I would really appreciate if some one helped me with this, I have a table containing multiple rows (tr), each row has two columns (td). In the first column I have a checkbox, when this checkbox is clicked i need it to change the class of a div in the second column of the row. So the table code is like this. <table> <tbody> <tr> <td><input type="checkbox" id="staged" name="slider[staged][]"><td> <td><div id="staged_box" class="hidden">contents of div</div><td> </tr> <tr> <td><input type="checkbox" id="staged" name="slider[staged][]"><td> <td><div id="staged_box" class="hidden">contents of div</div><td> </tr> And the jquery code which i cant get to work is this: jQuery('#staged').click(function() { jQuery(this).parent("tr").find('#staged_box').toggleClass('staged_hidden staged_wrapper'); }); Can some jquery braniac tell me where im going wrong?? Thanks in advance.
  4. Try and simplify them down to just black and white, add colour later.
  5. Thanks guys, anyone with heart? I like the fact that you can customize the hosting, so it looks like your own company. I'm looking for a linux server, I've only used Cpanel as a control panel though I do like the fact that heart allow you to customize your own. Budget is only around £30-40 to start with, until I get some sites under my belt. I haven't thought of support options to be honest! UK servers preferably. Disk space, enough to host around 20 websites so I can make my money back on it. Data transfer, well I will be hosting mainly small-medium sized business websites so anything that caters for that. Yes, I maybe looking at future upgrades. Ummmm quality (for a good price) haaa.
  6. Ok thanks everyone, I will take on board what you said!
  7. Ok, thanks for your input.
  8. I was thinking about this not so long ago. If your planing on staying a one man show there's no reason why having a company name is more beneficial to you. I opted for a company name because I plan on growing my company into other media avenues; and employing others, etc. Even if you have been throwing your name about, there's no reason why people couldn't find you if you changed your company name. It would just be Huw Rowlands at Company Name. There is a lot of web design companies named after names though, so either way I don't think its a problem. Maybe 'Rowlands Design' or something like that, because then it doesn't give the impression its just you. Unless you want to give that impression of course.
  9. Hi all, Just in the process of finishing of this e-commerce website, it's a luxury pen store. Not quite finished yet, what do you think? classical pens Thanks.
  10. Very nice Alzer, Your work is spotless. I'm not sure I'm a fan of those white men with no faces I seem to see those being used on a lot of websites! That's just me though! haa.
  11. Hi all, Just need some help from any of you who is familiar with wordpress. Is there a way to have sub text on a menu in wordpress? Like in the attachment?
  12. Any one ever used heart internet?
  13. I'm looking into getting a UK reseller account, any one got someone they would recommend? Heart internet look promising? If your a web host company, please don't reply! I want proper advice from other web designers/professionals, who might have anything good to recommend?
  14. I prefer the old pencil, paper and scanner, rather than a graphics tablet. I wouldn't mind a wacom cintique though! They look fun!
  15. Overall, very nice site and usable! Just some suggestions: in the drop down menus maybe have some sort of hover effect like alzer said not to sure about the cars coming soon button hasn't got a glossy look like the search button That's just me being picky, though well done! It is a usable site and it sends across a friendly vibe, just make sure that "friendly vibe" doest make the site look unprofessional.
  16. I would like an invite to dribble or forrst. Guess that makes me 3rd priority.
  17. Cool Man, I'm liking the Celtic logo!
  18. Thanks! I never seen the code masters logo (cool though!) I think the inspiration came from the magneto e-commerce logo. Haha.
  19. Thanks WBC. It would look ok black and white (maybe not the best), though this isn't an issue. I like the way how the E and the M is incorporated into the logo, I don't know if the 3D (blocky) effect looks professional? What do you think? Thanks all for your advice!
  20. Ahh this is a tricky one!
  21. Oh right ok, sorry for the misunderstanding I will try it now!
