Hi, "margin: 0 auto" works only for the blocks with explicitly defined width. Better use "text-align: center" instead.

Try to repeat other peoples' designs - recreating ones from scratch (but do not show it to anybody)))). Tutorials http://psd.tutsplus.com/category/tutorials/interface-tutorials/ will help you. And feel free to ask WDF's good people for advices.
