Feedback on a service that sends freelancers work projects

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I launched a service that sends freelancers/agencies handpicked project leads every Monday - we basically source leads from various websites, Slack groups, private social groups (Facebook/Linkedin), have leads submitted through our platform and have relationships with recruiters who send us leads in exchange for having their roles filed quickly, and we're looking for feedback from our target market (you guys!).

I'm a freelancer myself and I used to have the issue of dry spells, poor quality clients and low paying work, but I did eventually branch out with better marketing methods and have tried to scale those up to build my service.

The website: www.pipelinedaily.com

Some issues that we need to cover:

• Providing a better example of the types of leads you can receive

• Free plan/trial - this is tricky to implement because we're a highly personalised and handpicked service, so we spend quite a bit of time for each user and we wouldn't be able to offer the same quality service if we added trial accounts (which has been requested by over 60 people now). That being said, we're going to work in a 'free plan' whereby we send users on this plan project leads with hidden contact information, and they simply pay to reveal the information.

I'd love some feedback - the design is supposed to be clean, minimalist and easy-to-use. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm looking at the site on my phone and it all seems very jumbled. There are lots of different styles and layout as you scroll down. You use the hamburger menu which means I have to take an action to find out what's on offer or I have to scroll and scroll and scroll.

However, I don't necessarily want a free trial (although a refund on my first month if it doesn't work out would help) but I do want to see the types of projects on offer. How exclusive are the offers? If you are scraping from other sources am I competing with hundreds or thousands of others? It could be I pay my $49 and never get close to landing a contract.

And in the UK I want my leads in my inbox when I wake up. Otherwise all those who get them in the USA will get first dibs and I could lose out on every project.

If you are going to have a long site to scroll, maybe a "back to top" hover button that can return you to the top. Much easier than scrolling back through all the content you have just seen.
