August 20, 201511 yr Just doing my 2014/15 tax return and wondering if/ what proportion of my hosting I can claim. I'm employed full time and only take on a couple of paying freelance jobs a year, I pay £190 a year for a hosting account which hosts these two sites as well as some domain holding pages/ client development previews... Most of the info I can find on claiming hosting as an expense is along the lines of: "Web Hosting expenses are allowable if they are for the exclusive use of a business website", which suggests that I can't claim (I don't even have a "business website" tbh.) but if my business is building websites? Any advice?
