Strangely, I had a 'Jason' Cressey who ran into major problems on another forum I admin.

He was young though, be about 18 now.

Hmmm.... I wonder if it is the same guy...

:/ I'd like to see his stolen creation, but I keep getting 403 all the time :/

Yeah.. I think "his" site is down...

:hi: I can never see the guy's site. I don't get why someone would keep doing this. I mean if "borrows" your site once it's a compliment but more than that it's rude and wrong. 8)

Its down, hopefully for good and hopefully he will get a job he is good at instead of stealing for a living.

But if you want to see some of the sites he designed when he was younger then here you go:

I'm loving the disclaimer

http://jamiecressey.esmartweb.com/disclaimer.htm

I think he was 12 when he did these, its a shame that he didn't stick to that disclaimer when it involved himself and other peoples work. Plus it is a shame that he didn't just apply himself from the age of 12 as he could have been a good designer if he had just practice the craft rather than taking the easy way that hasn't paid off for him :)

The website looks bad, his disclaimer is hypocritical

I'm actually looking forward to seeing who's design gets ripped off next. Maybe we could hold a competition. A special snooper badge for the person who correctly identifies the site he nicks the design from.

That would be fun!

J/K ;)

What a hose bag. Is he a member of the forum? Was he one previously? How does he know Dizi? I don't get how he can just pick Dizi out of everyone and drive her up a wall? I just don't get it. It's not cool 8)

No it's not, and he hopefully is ashamed by what he did. I'm glad christopher alerted Dizi, thank you christopher! :)

That website is down......I wanted to see it but as it is down.....I couldn't see it...

what a shame on them

I'm pretty sure Jamie Cressey of Jingle Designs will be pulling this kind of stuff for a long time .

Yea , The more his name is out there the higher his SERP.

Edit:

Jamie Cressley from Jingle Designs other website (Wonder if anyone can find out if it's ripped off?)

First and foremost I am not Jamie Cressley. That is my site, and my flickr account. I am actually a web designer/developer who also happens to be a member on Detailing World and I was talking to the person in question, but I did not know that the site was copied and I do not know who this Jamie Cressley is other than his "jingledesigns" handle on Detailing World.

I would appreciate it if you could remove the links to my site in your post.

Done, sorry you got mistaken for a no good scum of the earth wannabe designer, who has no talent at all and feels stealing others work is the only way he could possible do it. I feel sorry for Jamie as it must be sad and so upsetting liking something so much and having no talent to actually be able to do it himself.

Sorry again that you got caught up in this, and got accussed of being a guy with no values at all.

:hi: so confused at how this happened. 8)

Thank you. On Detailing World I did think that his knowledge of HTML was pretty poor. I assumed he got his code off dynamic drive or somewhere like that.

Thanks again.

If you are refering to me getting involved, I assume it was because I have my site down in my profile on Detailing World and someone opened the wrong profile.

Stick around, sorry you got off to a bad start, you'll probably like it here :)

I have been poking around here and there, I think I may set up a tent. ;)
