I had a look at the thread (I won't post the link to the thread) on detailing world and it seems he's copied people before and charged for it. According to one of their members he charged someone for this, which is clearly a copy of this. I'm kind of tempted to make sure Mr. Cressey doesn't get any work at all by SEOing a load of pages with a copy of these two threads. I'm not evil enough though . Also for whoever recommended DDoSing him, well that would be a little daft as then you'd be in the wrong and wouldn't have much of a leg to stand on if he ever stole your work! Reading it again I see what you mean, I dont feel guilty in the slightest as iv got a squeaky clean conscience when it comes to design , but I am a little touchy on this subject as have had people copy from me in the past, it sucks especially if they get credit for it! I wonder if the guy will read all these posts? there enough to make someone hide out on a remote Scottish island for a few months!

June 21, 200818 yr ohhh and here was me planning on banning you all I think each forum is different and has different rule sets to suit different personalities, I know a few members that joined here hated how nice everyone was and didn't feel comfortable here as they felt because we all get on with each other that they were treading on egg shells. So a forum is very much personality based and once it gets a strong backing of a certain style it usually stays that way as a tone is set. But if you are happy on a forum and aren't scared to post your opinions and chat freely then that is all that is needed in a forum, I think its more of a case of how you like to express yourself that makes you like a forum over a different one. But lets not start bad mouthing other forums on here as that isn't what we are about here

They may get their money back. If you'd rather do it yourself then just let me know

The thread is gone now, which is a shame as I was hoping it would just be closed rather than deleted...that way google would index it and it would come up in searches showing what Jamie does. Never mind, at least he won't be ripping people off on that site any more.

Best scenario would be that he works hard, does some good work himself, then a 19 year old idiot comes along and steals it all and that 19 year old becomes a rich and famous web designer off of Jamies hard work...as no one would believe that Jamie would have done it because of all of this....that would be karma for you Unfortunately I think Cabbage is right, he isn't going to learn and he will continue to be a con artist.
June 22, 200818 yr When I try to go to the site i get Error 403 - Forbidden You tried to access a document for which you don't have privileges. but I have read both forum topics and this whole ordeal just blows my mind! I mean he's lucky he's just getting nasty Emails considering other professions like lobster trapping, where you get caught stealing from the traps you get shot at. Stealing is stealing which happens all the time... but to claim it as your own is far on the wrong side of crossing the line. so the 403 error, that doesnt really mean the site is down just that I can't access it? or what's that all about

June 23, 200818 yr Strangely, I had a 'Jason' Cressey who ran into major problems on another forum I admin. He was young though, be about 18 now.
