Thanks! I haven't touched HTML in ages (too busy lol) I knew it was something simple, I just couldn't get it.

    Sure! Some CSS h1{ display:inline; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:28px; font-weight:lighter; text-transform:uppercase; text-decoration:none; } h1 a{ color:#FFF; text-decoration:none; } h1 a:hover{ color:#00aeef; } span{ font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-transform:uppercase; text-decoration:none; display:inline; margin-left:10px; position:relative; top:-7px; } span a{ color:#470306; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-transform:uppercase; text-decoration:none; display:inline; } span a:hover{ color:#ed1c24; } Some HTML <h1><a href="#">Anova Karkova</a></h1><span><a href="#">View Project</a></span> The code above has what I did with 2 URLs, but I'd like to do it in one, with bother rolling over at the same time.

So, I'm coding a new portfolio. And I've run into an issue that's rather annoying. the top image is the hover state, notice that both sets of text have a hover state. the bottom, is the normal state. Both of them are links to the same exact location. The issue is, that when I set them to the same link, When one is hovered, both do not rollover. only one does. and setting them to two separate links does not work for this either. is there anyway to hack/ work around this? Or do I have to deal with it?
  4. I'm still alive as well, been caught up in the current of life.
  5. The code is a mess , Tables , divs and overuse of Javascript where CSS would have been a better choice. Ha, Learn Solid CSS , and HTML to the latest spec and ditch WYSISYG's you get nothing good out of it. and use notepad. If you write good enough code, updating the site should be easy anyways.
  6. we got that a few days ago i have 2 and some change feet on my lawn.
  7. we got to 15 below in new york! I remember when we hit -45 with the windchill , the whole state shut down literally.
  8. Microsoft digital media pro!. I have the wired version and after many years of faithful use the keys remain nice and do not feel like mush. I would buy one again definitely. Although I do need to get a new keyboard with heavier keys to increase my WPM.
  9. Psh I just bought a canon (20D) I love tilt shift but the gear to do it outside of photoshop is way too much.
  10. Evil does travel in sets of three.
  11. Reading the Crucible , doing other Homework , writing a paper. I've been procrastinating for the better part of 5 hours.
  12. You should really seek permission on that image you used. Its not by you at all. The original image can be found here http://manicho.deviantart.com/art/Wednesda...D-file-64581049
  13. If i get a mac I will buy it twords july. ( get a CS4.02 upgrade maybe. )
  14. Actually I like .pngs better. It supports multiple layers of transparency. Which .GIF doesn't. If your worried about the alpha halo in older versions of IE use the HTC hack or browse the many many other hacks.
  15. Wow time flys I haven't been active at all , or lurking for the matter. I'm taking a HTML course in high school I thought it was going to be a little advanced but it isn't we use the 3.2 doctype its basic stuff I do have to say I'm learning stuff i never knew at all though. The Pre tag for one of them But other than that I haven't learned much. And I am coding a site for a friend and me. Whats new with all of you? And whats new on the web I feel like I've been gone for years.

No the scrolling wasn't I just like to see a bit more interactivity with it, Its overall getting overused a manual scroll and its boring and dull to me.

Nice site I like the interactivity. I feel that it can do more though. he should Integrate some scrolling JS so i dont have to use the scrollbar etc. I love it though ( OH and the images take ages to load here. )
  18. the mark is too small , Un iconic it really doesn't stand on its own nor is it print friendly. Also the typography you use is very standard liven it up.
  19. I have only watched 15 minutes of it sadly. I would love to finish it as I am a TYPE NUT. And currently working on a font.
  20. That my friend would be one of the MANY faces of Helvetica. More specific Helvetica Bold. you CAN get away with Arial bold because most don't know the difference. ( The R's are a BIG ONE )
  21. The typography is good , Well sort of. you use georgia once in the whole design id change it to helvetica , Arial caps maybe and make the speech bubble a bit more attractive. Also the navigation needs redesigning its not that intuitive. Overall the layout is A bit too tight and needs greater margins on some elements such as the contact form. your portfolio page needs some better organization ( a section scroller etc ) and more space between the top and bottom of entries also your copy needs some line-height adjustment . And I also agree with BWD for once. Make the quotes more interactive as well as the whole site.
  22. Hey voodoomike, There is already a topic on this try the link below http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=10571
