March 30, 201412 yr Hi Guys, Hope someone can help - i'm looking to find a way of auto tweeting a welcome message to new twitter followers. I've seen it done, but cant figure out how. I dont mind paying for some software to do this, can anyone help?
April 1, 201412 yr Personally I wouldn't do that. When I get an automated welcome message I can tell and it feels cheap. I've got 2 Twitter accounts so I know when someone uses it. Sometimes is out of context or just makes them look stupid = unfollow. I'm sure you can take some time just to say thanks for the follow.
April 8, 201412 yr Something like this would be useful for competitions or news update (for example: You post on your blog and it posts on twitter for you) but for welcoming new followers, like the others have said, it's not the best idea.

Making sure you are notified so you can respond, not only to new followers but to all tweets, rapidly is far better. Use personal touches, don't push your marketing message or branding, (Unless that was the point of their tweet), be helpful and light hearted whenever you can be. It will encourage more followers and thus promote your brand organically for you
April 16, 201412 yr If I were you, don't do that auto tweeting Just a suggestion anyways, but it's up to you if you would like it.
May 8, 201412 yr It's much better you interacting than having something interact automatically with users on your behalf.
September 24, 201411 yr I wouldn't do that personally. Although it might save some time, it will appear robotic. Invest your time in engaging people properly to get the best results.
March 22, 201511 yr A very honest suggest is to don't waste your time on auto tweets its really something i won't prefer and i feel most will go with this way only.
March 25, 201511 yr Twitter was made to actually avoid anything that is automated so to speak. Real people in real time with real happenings. Auto tweets or dm's are really annoying, most people delete it before even reading them.
