I would be grateful for your help. I want to create an elegant website using a professional web builder such as squarespace. Since my business (luxury property ) is based in London and Paris I was told that there is no point having the server in the US. Squarespace has also another weakness : you can not phone in, it is email support only.

 

Could you shed some light ? ideally I want a small company which has powerful and beautifully designed templates and good quality hosting.

You could try to check www.yola.com and www.wix.com. But i don't know where their hosting servers are, you should ask them that.

if your business is luxury property then surely you should take the luxury of hiring a proper developer to do your site and budget justice.
