Need feedback on website design

Featured Replies

I have just started learning web designing.. Need your feedback on design and layout of www.desiznworld.com.

I have got feedback like it is not navigable and readable.. It will be very helpful what corrective actions do i take, like which fonts and stuff like that..

A bit confused that you want a review of an existing theme by StudioPress... The fonts are fine but you need to double check the location of your images as you're getting a lot of broken images. It's nice in terms of colour and layout but it looks a bit inconsistent like you have taken design ideas from multiple sources. Try keeping a rhythm throughout.

Some of your post topics are interesting. I particularly like the 'Illegal Movie Posters' post.

Hi, welcome to the forum :)

I wonder why visitors would want to subscribe to your newsletter and follow you on social networks - I mean this is what you see straightaway. You better attract attention to your posts instead.

Not much to review on design if it's a ready theme.

Other than that I am sorry to say but it's just another blog posting "30 blue designs", "40 pink designs" - plenty of them around, not sure if there is a room for competition there.

However I wish you good luck with it :)

It's very readable due to the contrast of the white background and black text.

That said it's pretty boring design wise, I probably wouldn't bother reading anything. Also there's adverts everywhere and ad links that look like navigation items, this is a big usability problem.

Perhaps the issue isn't the website, but the content itself. For example the about page is quite badly written and the articles don't read well either.
