When is Google penguin recently updated its algorithm? what is it updated?

Recent Pengiuen Update held on 22nd of May, it was against spam linking, most of the site create spam links get panalize.

Recently Google penguin rolled it Penguin 2.0. It's all about non-related and bad links. If you are getting backlinks from non related website then you have chance to panelize.

Would a few different links from your own site to your own site as same page be considered as spam.

 

e.g. Best selling trainers page listed in one of your pages as article. Nike Air Max trainers in your product list, and again in your Navbar.

 

All three links linking to the same page, but three different anchored links.

After penguin update we have to more take care of links quality and proper variation in anchor text used for link building.

Recently Google penguin 2.0 is update and it was update to stop spam and who use spam work for website their website penalized or ranking drop down in the search result and it also against those who use duplicate content.

Generally Google refresh panda algorithm periodically but there is no surety For penguin. Whenever Google update his search algorithm, It will always massive changes in ranking.

Panda is refreshed roughly 10 days every month (multi week roll out it's called)

 

Penguin is now part of the algorithm so they don't do a refresh (a refresh is where they go through all their index and give it a closer inspection).

 

So yes, there is certainty because it's always active

Penguin is an important algorithm change targeted at web spam. Google mention black hat SEO, Keyword Stuffing, irrelevant outgoing links.

Panda Update is consider reducing rankings for low-quality sites, copy content from other websites.

You know, I always here about these updates, but not one seems effect my page rank or traffic. Is anyone else actually seeing any effects to their rankings?

I seen my personal get hit way back when, but since I re-done it, its ranking went back up.

 

Other sites I operate have seen an improvement.
