Still not working. When I check it on my mobile and click on more details it says: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS I don't understand as that is the only code in the .htaccess file. Maybe it's worth going back to 123 reg support. Thanks for your advice anyway

Hi, I am wondering if this is possible: So on my web page I wish to have an iframe containing another website. Within this other website is a form. So is it possible to redirect my page to another page when someone clicks on the other websites button contained within the iframe? (I cannot edit any code on the external websites page) Is there a bit of code that can do this? Or is it not possible?

Hi I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer for me. My brother has a website that uses an independent payment system. This system has unique URLs to specific products to select from. So on his website he can create a link directly to these pages. However if someone is not logged in or not signed up this URL redirects to the login page. My question is this: would it possible for this payment system to add in a command to their code so that if a person clicks on that link but not logged in, that after they do login/signup they are directed back to that URL they were originally clicking on? Is this possible? and if so is this an easy or difficult task?

Ah I see. So basically if I were a new Facebook promotion it would give me a greater reach until that promotion run out and then based on the amount of clicks it would lower my reach if my click through rate was low?

Hi, I'm really confused with Facebook and I hope someone can help me understand how it works. Basically when I started the number of people I was reaching was huge, but each time I promote my page/website on Facebook it just gets less and less each time, but costs me much more per action. The first time I used Facebook I got a reach of 46,152 people for £40. I've done it recently and its 10,484 for the same value and each time it just gets worse and worse. I set up one promotion that originally gave me a reach of 25,672 that got me 665 likes. I tried setting up the same promotion in the exact same way and now Facebook estimates my maximum reach as less than 12,000, and after testing it for a day instead of about 12p per like I am now paying 80p a click. Any Facebook guru could help me I would appreciate your help!

Hi, I advised my brother to use a company that I have always built decent bespoke sites in the past. However on this occasion they seem to have done a Wordpress site. In it they built a table that didn't work from the get go, so I replaced it with a plugin that seems quite good. However it does not look so good once viewed in a mobile phone. So I asked them if they could hide this table using the CSS once viewed on a mobile and create a new text box that only shows on a Desktop so I can write it out as a simple list. I would have thought I could hide the table using this and wrapping it in a span: .tabledesktop { display: none; } However they seem to want to charge £350 for it, which seems a lot for what I would think would be a small task. However I am not so familiar with Wordpress (I know how to access the CSS). But the CSS file seems such a mess I don't know where to add it. Can anyone help? Hi, I am not use to Google Adwords and could do with some advice. My brother has recently opened a small local club and would like to target clubs and schools. What's the score when targeting these keywords on Adwords? For example could I use the name of a school? I cannot see anyone else targeting these search terms which makes me think that there is a block on searching for these types of keywords. Is that the case or not? Also, from my understanding PPC campaigns work on competitiveness. The more competitive the keyword the more expensive it is as it is based on a bidding system. I know keywords like web design could cost a few pounds a click-through. However what happens when there are absolutely no competitors? Does this mean it could cost just 1p per click? Any advice on this would be welcome. Thank you

Got to disagree with you on that one. Although internal linking is important as it allows Google to find information easier and providing the pages contain plenty of well written content it will help your ranking within Google. However citations in their very definition are basically references that support your content. If your supporting your content with your own pages this has very little meaning. Whereas if you have a number of websites using your website as a reference then it tells Google hey this website knows what it is talking about. It means even more if the website in question that is using you as a reference in turn has a certain level of authority. Certain websites such as Universities, government sites, and those super huge brand names will always have the highest level of authority. Majestic SEO is a well know site that helps measure trust and citation flow based on the type of backlinks that support a websites content. It's worth checking them out. No matter how deep you go into SEO, there will always be two main factors that rank websites above all others. The first is well written original content, the other is the citation flow from backlinks that supports that content!

I agree with you. Although if you look on Google for the difference between backlinks and inbound links most sites (even sites that write about SEO) seem to suggest they are one in the same. Personally I would think that the use of the word 'back' would suggest sites that link back. Whereas inbound links would suggest a one way link. However although these types of links are important backlinks in related industries are inevitable and in moderation still a very important factor towards DA.

I think I possibly know what they might mean. Instead of applying a number of styles to one id or class, I think might be meaning create different styles for fonts, structure colours etc within your css and then you can select which style you would like to apply to a div. For example your class may look like this: <div class="halfcolumn whitefont blackbackground"></div> Then each of these would be a different style in your class: .blackbackground { } .whitefont{ } .halfcolumn{ } This is all I can think it would be!
