May 14, 200818 yr I'm curious what type of beer everyone likes. Brand, Type, Country of Origin. List a couple if you don't have just one favorite. Mine are: Hoegarten Blue Moon Guiness Harp Stella Sam Adams Magic Hat (#9 is my favorite) Budvar (The Czech Budweiser) New Castle Brown Ale
May 14, 200818 yr Stella and budweiser are NOT beer. They're lagers!!!! I drink: Caffreys; Guiness; Light n bitter; Newcastle Brown Ale; John Smiths Smooth.
May 14, 200818 yr Never thought of this before - but all my favourites pretty much reflect the fact I travel! Tiger Beer (Malaysia) San Miguel (Spain) Speights (NZ)
May 14, 200818 yr In no order: Guiness Theakston's Riggwelter Tropical(lager not beer but hey) Black Sheep

May 15, 200818 yr I'm with you here, ever had Bulmers Strawberry and Pear cider? That stuff is the best! Ne'er mind all that city-dwellers stuff! Av ye 'ad proper cider - scrumpy that'll down a rhino? There be plenty of folks round these parts from or in Plymouth and they'll tell 'e 'bout proper cider - cider with chunks in 'em. Proper job my lovelies! I used to live near Torquay and the Cider Bar in Newton Abbot (a God-awful rough place with, and no joke here, straw on the floor) got taken to court for refusing to serve women pints because the stuff was so strong. Well we can't be have sexism now can we? Quite rightly they lost and were forced to sell women pints. Only no-one said how! So when ladies used to order a pint they were given two half pints!!!! Genius! Now that be cider!

Genius! Now that be cider! I've erm 'ad meself some proper cider at a beer festival, it's a pretty big one ran by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale I think?) every year in Stoke. One of the ciders I had was pretty much syrup! One of my housemates is from Hereford so he know's a fair bit about it (as the Bulmers brewery is there) although he doesn't really venture any further than Strongbow or the forementioned strawberry and pear stuff. Oh I made a mistake by the way, the strawberry and pear cider is made by Brothers and not Bulmers, it has its roots in festivals apparently. I was at Download Festival 2 years ago but I have to admit i stuck to the carling in the arena and just drank Strongbow in the camp site, good times .
May 15, 200818 yr Good old Carlsberg They brew Carlsberg here in Northampton you know - if only you knew where they used to get the water from
May 16, 200818 yr To be perfectly honest I don't really like beer - sure ill drink it but I prefer Cider:D I can however drink vodka straight... That was a cool night but the next day was TERRIBLE - I would not recommend it...
May 16, 200818 yr Tonight, I'm having a few bottles of Old Speckled Hen. Sat on my own, children and wife in bed, wondering what the weekend will bring. *What a sad bast88d*!
May 26, 200818 yr The nene by any chance? lol or the sewers? Look for the door in the wall at the top of Victoria Promenade (opposite Becketts Park). Inside you go down to an underwater spring which is where the brewery used to get it's water from.
May 26, 200818 yr Tonight, I'm having a few bottles of Old Speckled Hen.Sat on my own, children and wife in bed, wondering what the weekend will bring. *What a sad bast88d*! MMMMMMM Speckled Hen!! One of my favourites. Bishops Finger is another one. I do Home Brew also when I can be bothered and Woodfords Wherry is a nice beer when left for a month or two. I'm a big fan of Abbotts Ale on draft and really just about any decdent real ale. The list is considerable lol I now have to go and have a beer!!! By the way, lager IS beer!
May 26, 200818 yr I don't really like beer but when I do have a few it's gotta be Carlton Cold (Aussie beer)
May 27, 200818 yr my favourites are in no perticular order: Fosters Corona (with lime other wise its pointless) San Migel staropramen (czech lager) Jacques fruit cider spitfire

May 28, 200818 yr my favourites are in no perticular order: Fosters Corona (with lime other wise its pointless) San Migel staropramen (czech lager) Jacques fruit cider spitfire yup, other wise its not a corona! and if i could i'd put a full lime into it
June 4, 200818 yr Norwegians are very passionate about English Premier League (football). Along comes pubs and beers naturally. A norwegian live commentator once said: "On my last trip to england, I drank a wonderfull beer. I think they called it pint or something". PearTree: Me too. I woke up great the next day only because I was still drunk. The pain began about 20.00 later the next day.
July 15, 200818 yr Um...tricky one. I'm not that fussy. Lagers - American all the way. Bud or, even better, Coors. Ales - Doom Bar (from Cornwall) is pretty good...or anything from Black Sheep brewery in Yorkshire. Generally more or less any locally brewed ale is good though. Stout - More or less any stout. Guinness I suppose, since it's usually the only one available. I also like Belgian beers - a lot of my family is from Belgium so I got a bit of an introduction to them. Piraat is good, or a Chimay Bleu, Kwak, even a Leffe Tripel. They're more or less all good, actually. Except for the rubbish ones.
July 15, 200818 yr Stella Artois. I would like it to be known that I do not condone any sort of fruit in beer!
