What do you think about my logo design?

I don't think it's a logo, but an illustration.

I've just had a look at your website and would have to say the little dude doesn't fit in.

Although he is cool, he gives the impression of arts and crafts. By looking at your illustration or logo you wouldn't be able to tell it's about selling templates. Also if you compare it to the style of your site it doesn't blend well. Looks like it's been cut from somewhere else and pasted on. Hope that's helpful.

 

Oh and i do love the favicon.

You are right it looks just like a picture, all you can think of looking at it is a happy pencil. Try something more simple

Yeah this looks like a nice little illustration that I would of used for a front cover of an art project using clip art when I was a little kid! Definitely not a logo.

I like my logo. I like it design. It was developed in 2007 and I am not going to change it.

It's true. There is a difference between an illustration and a logo. What you have there, is an illustration. Age doesn't matter. I made mine in 2004 (though the typography has changed a bit, the icon hasn't).

 

You need to see if the logo (or in this case illustration) is working for the site. In this case, I don't think it is. I don't think a pencil with a artist pallet says "websites"

 

Personal opinion though.

The logo is well done.

 

It's exactly logo at least because the author interpret it just as a logo.

(Though, IMHO, it looks rather like a mascot).

Totally agree with WBC — this logo definitely does not suit to the site design.

Logo design seems like this logo would be use for graphic design company

My company creates web design. We make templates based on different CMS

it doesn't look like a logo at all. A logo should be simple. You can keep the idea but make it very simple with less detail.

This post isn't about the logo, it's about getting hits on the website.

 

I personally don't care for it, but I'm sure you can find that exact image somewhere here.

 

With that being said, I have to agree with the above comments, and say whether it's a logo, or an illustration, it doesn't fit.

Sorry, but why did you decide that I want to get hits on the website? I don't know the reason of your charge! I am shure you will not find this image in Google search. It's my logo. I think you need to respect my design.

Like I said, it's none of my business, but I've seen many posts that look suspiciously similar to this one, which are not about honest feedback, but about flaunting your design, and trying to get noticed.

Everything is ok. But you can see that this design is mine and I don't sell it.

i think it's a joke... it's not logo never call it's logo and never use it in your business.

It's not a joke. If you want you can view this logo at my website. I hope you will see that it's really nice and good.

A good logo should be:

 

1. Memorable
   
2. Describable
   
3. Scalable - ie, works at any size
   
4. Effective without colour - needs to work if photocopied
   
5. Relevant to the organization
   

 

So no, that's not a good logo.
