I mean submit articles on the subject of your website with the hope that they get syndicated along with your link, something like this.

  • Author

Ok thanks but I don't mean web subjects particularly. I think some of these submission sites let you choose a category for your article eg football, politics, web-design etc. I just googled for one of the popular articles on www.articlesbase.com and it shows up on over 6000 websites. Even if only some of these include the attribution / link, that is a lot of backlinks :)

You can submit article to all article sites such as articlebase. OF course your article should meet their requirement!

Any suggestions please for the best place to submit articles?

Thanks :)

I am using ezinearticles . com.You can also use this site.I am using this site because this site have high PR and quality visitors.

I purchased Article Marketing Automation software at AMA I can tell you its easy to use & cheap to purchase.

But..

I have no idea how effective it will be I have only summited 5 articles and they have been published about 6 times each. Apparently can take up to 90 days for good results.

The articles must be 300 words so if you are doing product reviews keep that in mind before you purchase.

After you submit an article you can keep checking your stats online it gives you a summary

"Your articles have been presented 169 times for consideration by site owners.

The articles have been approved 33 times and rejected 122 times, which means your articles have a rejection rate of 79%. A total of 14 copies are still waiting for a decision by site owners.

In total, the system has successfully published 33 copies of your articles. This number may differ from the number of approvals received for your article. When owners remove sites from the AMA network, the article approval count is affected, but this published count is not affected."

It has more capabilities but have not checked it out properly. I don't think it tells you where or who has published your articles.

ezine is good place to post article articlebase, goarticle, etc...

There's quite a number of web directories in the list that fits into the category. What you need to do is to type in "list of article directories" in google and there you have it.

ok.. I would like to ask something.

I hear that Search Engines do not like duplicate content. Now if i keep publishing the same piece of article in every page, isn't that likely going to create a duplicate content issue ?

Thanks

Yes it probably will.

If you have content on your website and on Ezines, Ezines will be preferred because of it's high PR.

In reply to the above, and for the OP I suggest giving this a read it helped me a lot:

Thanks for helping :)

Btw, i just researched on this a little more and found another content at http://www.marketingwords.com/blog/?p=5

It mentions about an interview with Matt Cutts about the issue. He more or less opines of the same.

Thanks for this link. So the conflict is that article submission is good for creating backlinks but bad for keeping your content unique. My guess is that syndicating all your content so that nothing on your website is unique would be really bad, so maybe the middle position is to syndicate a seclection of your content while keeping the majority unique.

How about typing 'high PR article directories' in google ;)

Article directory's are not worth it anymore, their hay day has been and gone... but isnare.com was the best value (they have a distribution service thats really cheap)

You know that writing articles is the best free way to promote your business and gain credibility. You understand the importance of articles containing actual information and not being just long sales letters.

Do you know the absolute best places to submit all of those wonderful articles you have written?

Here is your list of the top 6 places to submit your articles:

1. Idea Marketers

With an Alexa ranking of 13,015, this site is one that you definitely don't want to miss submitting to. You have to sign up for a free account. Instantly accepts your article. http://www.ideamarketers.com

2. Go Articles

This one has an Alexa ranking of 17,504. You have to sign up for a free account. This site is part of the Jayde Network. Instantly accepts your article. http://www.goarticles.com

3. Article City

Article City has an Alexa ranking of 20,024. No account is required. http://www.articlecity.com

4. Article Announce

5. Free Content

By all means, submit your articles anywhere and everywhere it is appropriate. But there are certain websites that should always be included on your list. These places have a high number of visitors and/or subscribers.

actually article marketing really is not the best free way... not anymore.

video marketing & social media is the way forward has been for a year or so

----

http://www.isnare.com/distribution.php .... its $2 to automatically distribute articles via their network... articles don't really bring in as much weight as they once did but isnare is quite cool

Ezinearticles should be your first choice its PR rank is 6 (I think!), max keyword density is %2 so watch out for that.

You can put them on Ezine after you've put them elsewhere but make sure you credit the article to the same person.

Also if your going to put them on your own site as well, ensure you do this first, as otherwise your submitted articles on ezine may outrank your own website.

Many thanks,

Sam

Different SEO people have different opinions about article submission sites.

Some say to go with the main article sites (like below) and submit variety; however some say that all your articles being on one or two article sites, only really gives you one or two links.

Other say that submitting 1 or 2 articles to lots or different article sites, gives you a larger variety of links from other sources.

The most talked about article sites would be:

www.ezinearticles.com

www.a1articles.com

www.articlealley.com

If you want variety, this site comes up on 1st page of google for 'article submission list': article submission list

Hope this helps.

I like 3 sites:

ezinearticles.com - high page rank and favored by Google

artciledashboard.com - high page rank and your articles get downloaded and posted elsewhere.

goarticles.com - easy & quick to post article. Has a low page rank but good traffic. Your articles get downloaded heaps here.

You have to submit your article in high PR article directories which is very beneficial for your site to getting high PR.

There is a list here of the top directories:

http://www.vretoolbar.com/articles/directories.php

However, I’d way up the time it will take to post the article against the value it will add. Most of the links you will get will, in actual reality, be of low quality and will drive virtually no traffic.

Plus, are you planning on submitting the same article to multiple directories? If so, really consider other options. Write some content for your site that is unique, write another unique piece of content and place it on your blog. Do some guest posting with another unique bit of content, do a PR......there are lots of ways you can spend your time that will add actual value.
