    okay. go here https://netenberg.com/fantastico.php

click view more and see what they have. most have a website and where they are open source you can probably get a download and install yourself?

Sounds like you need a project management system so you can keep track of everything. Have a look at http://basecamphq.com/ - you'll wonder how you managed without it

For snippets you can use gists.

for anything bigger, use a DVCS. Bitbucket offers free private repos for up to 5 users & hg is easy to get started with. Unfuddle offers free private repos for git, or you could use github (paid).

Just to jump in... I've owned 2 Acer laptops, one of them I still use regularly, and it has been going strong for 4 years (without needing a reinstall of windows too I may add, though thats down to the fact I actually do housework on my computer ).

Plus, the ipad just looks like pretty much every other apple product; white with rounded corners and the apple logo slapped on the back. Doesn't really do it for me. I would turn them both down for a date based on looks and go by myself

    Sounds good dude!

Like I said, I was sure that when the site is active and has all the features (proper text, jquery sliders and the like) it would become more obvious. That was just the only real feedback I could give - I like the rest of it

Thumbs up, i think it's nice and striking. which i gather is probably the point.
One thing i'd deal with though is the lime green on the light background is very hard for people with poor eyesight to read.

Your rights as author of the work are automatic and last for 70 years unless there was an agreement in place to show otherwise so it shouldn't matter that there was nothing on the site. To qualify your work has to be regarded as original and exhibit a degree of labour, skill or judgement. Check Link for more details.

You could say that they cannot display the website without an express licence from you and they need to pay you something for that licence, but they will probably say that there was an inferred licence to display your work as nothing was said in the beginning.

If I were you, I'd write to the company letting them know that the work belongs to you and they cannot change the code without your express consent or it would be a breach of copyright. Then when it come to updating their website they either have to pay for a whole new site or they have to ask you for permission to modify it (where you say of course, but you have to pay me £xxx for the licence) or you can offer to do the work for your normal fee and end up with a new client.

It unlikely that you will get anything from it unless you monitor the site to check for unauthorised changes, but for 5 minutes of writing the letter it may still be worth it.

According to interaction design theory, the thing is to put things you want people to click on, on the right side... most people are right-handed, it's more work to move up to top left. Figure that's why a lot of - say - newspapers have most of the ads on the right side and top.

Visually, though, left or right doesn't matter to me; it depends on the graphic design whether it works or not.
