Best Wishes, Alen Are you sure the message is actually reaching your email inbox and not just a private message notification from web designer forum . If its the later, i think you can turn that setting off in your control panel.

March 29, 200917 yr its just an email from wdf telling you that you have received a PM, its not that big of a deal. You can change it in the user control panel.

BTW, Your 'read my blog' link returns a Error 404: NOT FOUND! Your browser cannot find the document corresponding to the URL you typed in. NO BIG DEAL!

At the top of the forum page click "my controls" then on the left hand side scroll down to options and select "email settings" there you can turn off pm notification amongst other things. HTH Pat

March 30, 200917 yr Hi Alen, WDF using the email you gave us when signing up to notify you when someone sends you a PM through our system. You can turn this off as has been explained. We do not know your private email address, nor do we ever give it out. Also we have no access to see who is sending PMs to whom nor can we see the content so we don't know when "fake" members are sending spam. Once we are informed we can get sort the problem and the best way to let us know is to send one of the moderators a PM. Thanks, Eris

March 30, 200917 yr I also got the same email from the same person. This email is actually a "Nigerian Scam" and we should TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS. Here is link for more info: Click Here. Their modus operandi is to first befriend and flatter you and the scammer will ask for your email and give you a photo of the lady. Then they always have this same story about a big sum of money that needs to be entrusted to you and asks for your bank account. Another scam is you winning some kind of lottery. I got this same type of email in another site "MySpace" , a social site. Just don't reply and ignore this scammer. Thanks.

March 30, 200917 yr It's funny - I had an encounter with a nigerian scam ring on Amazon only recently, they tried to "purchase" something I was selling. (By Purchase I mean sending me an email from a masked address claiming to be from amazon saying my Item had sold and to dispatch the goods straight away - I knew straight away though ). Good job Amazon were on the ball though, They've got a brilliant Help & Support team there that dealt with it.

April 1, 200917 yr Author Damn, when I got my PM from lucy4 I thought my luck was in lol, It would be interesting to do a survey to find out how many people saw Lucy4 as Spam and how many thought their luck had changed!!
April 4, 200917 yr I got one the other day as well from her. I thought it was real for a moment... only a short moment though as why would someone send you that type of message on a web designer forum LOL I'm glad to hear that she's banned now though
