Argumatr is taking arguments and bringing them into the modern age. Users can comment and agree or disagree with your argument. You will get a great discussion and will have a fun time doing it. How it works You can post an argument and put into in any category you wish People can vote on weather they agree or disagree with you People comments can be given points and the comments with the most points rise to the top of the arguments. After 48 hours and argument closes and side with the most points wins. We just launched our public beta last night at beta.argumatr.com and are looking for some beta testers and users to give us feedback on the UI/UX, the general feel and how it works for you. Also, if you have some feature ideas that would be great too! I am the front end dev for argumatr and am looking for feedback on anything from the site from general flow to any of the elements. Hey everyone, my first app just got approved in the app store. I was wondering if you could try it out and give me some reviews. It is a 'Rough" version right now and needs a lot of touch ups, but the major functionality is in it. Whats It Do It is a social sharing app where you can post a picture and a description of where you are at and it shares that on a map. So lets say you are out in town and see a cool piece of art or a cool place to eat. Open the app, give it a title and a story and then snap a pic and it will post to where you are on a map. You can also see any places that people have posted around you. So if you are on a hike or are in a park people can post places that have good views and you can see an example and then go there! Thanks for the help. The geolocation comes from the phone, so it must be some kind of issue with the Lumia and HTML5 Geolocation. Ill have to take a look into it and see why. Thanks for the help!

Ive added Bing Maps support, does anyone have an android phone you can test for me? Just check in some where and add a pic from the phone. I dont have an android and need to make sure it works.. Thanks!

The App I am working on an app for one of my college classes, basically its a geolocation app that uses HTML5 to let users plot cool places/points around our campus ( Or the world). You can post images, a headline and a description then the point is plotted on a map. You can then see what people have "pinned" around you, and see what other people think is cool around campus. Help Test! I just need some more data from around the globe so that I can test some MySQL queries and such, plus I wanna see how it functions with other people using it other than just me. So if you could visit jibclients.com/… on your smartphone, or you can do it on a modern browser, and add some data for me. Maybe a pic of where you are at, eating etc. anything would help. I have only tested on iPhone, iPad Mini and Firefox so far. The image upload is done through HTML5 so it only works on iOS 6+ if anyone can give me some insight into how it works on Android that would be great! It will be ported over to Native using PhoneGap when I get more development and a lot of design stuff done. Thanks!

Preordered mine at 3:45 am. Going to be here on the 21st. I just love how it works so well with everything I have and I love airplay to my apple TV. The quality of apps on the iPhone are 10x's better than on Android...

I made a quick site called RedsCountdown.com that counts down the Reds Magic number ( till they clinch the playoffs ) it uses Jerseys from past players to count down the number. It got over 1500 visits in two days and has had over 2300 shares. It was featured on our local news channel in Cincinnati also (local12.com/content/12links/redirect/Reds-Magic-Number/…) Pretty cool how 20 minutes of work took off like that. I wrote a post today about becoming a freelance designer on my blog. It just gives some good tips and tricks that I have used over the years. Thanks. I gave the content area a percentage margin so that it will look better on bigger screens. That should help it, still have some changes to make though.

Thanks to both of. I agree it could use lightened up. I had to work with the black and white pic because we really didn't have to many to chose from. I really just wanted to highlight the engagement pics. I also had to use those HEX colors as they are our wedding colors, if I would have had a pic they definitly wouldnt have been used on the site as they could be a lot brighter. Thanks guys!

I got off work early today at 3pm and finally had time to sit down and make my wedding site. I did this from 3pm till 7pm. I don't think it turned out too bad for only 4 hours of work from start to finish. Im going to add some jQuery to snazz some things up and there is still a little content to add. Whys it so big? I would say drop everything down a size or two. Right now its just yelling at me and the fixed logo is really just getting in the way for me, it makes reading the content hard.

Lol I knew somebody would say something about the Google Images. This is just a mock up for a client, I'm going to purchase iStockPhotos for the actual site when it goes live.

People always ask me how to make a web site... so I made a video on how its done, by screen casting work I did for a client today. This is the whole web design process from my head to the computer. This was started as just a sketch on some paper and evolved as I worked. This is a really rough draft and will be touched up A LOT and added to.
