Ha, I understand your comments, but number 2 is the version I was doing what they asked. It was not my Idea but they are the client and if they want to see one with a compass in place of the o i must provide that. I do disagree with your comment about number one. I think the ark represents the shape of an eye lid and the compass rose on it is like the guiding light. Number 4 is the strongest though, ill give you that. here it is black and white to give you an idea of a 2 color process, plus it is all vector so it will scale well to any size...

Please Review, I appreciate any constructive criticism: I am in the process of creating a logo for an eye care center due to open this summer in Chicago. The name of the practice is Compass Eye Care. The owner's vision for their logo is to be a nautical theme, perhaps a compass in place of the o in Compass, gold blue color scheme, modern, clean design. Below are the first round of mock ups that were sent to the owners of Compass Eye Care.

I really like what you have created but I would loose the gradient. Your logo will be more timeless and much stronger visually with a solid color, try white.

Hello, I believe an simple image swap would be a solution to this. If I am understanding you correctly. You could have the Four Kitchen Images large and then the finishes as like "thumbnails" under the large images and when they click or scroll over the thumbnail pictures the countertops would change (or whatever finish needs to change). If this is what you are thinking, you will first need to have the images "photoshoped" with all the finishes and then programed. I would be happy to provide this service and learn more about your company. I have great photo-shop skills and can provide the code for your website that would just need to be inserted by your designer/programmer. Hello Im a Mac, and glad to be one.

Yes! I am not just saying that either, all together they are much easier to work on. Some of the short cuts are different but you pick them up fast. The main one is that the control butn on the pc is the apple butn on the mac. so to save its apple+s and not control+s. I would encourage you to read up on how easy the macs are to use, maybe google some more blogs. Macs also have a lot of built in software that is a bonus such as iphoto, idvd, and ilife. And when you are running multiple programs at once they dont blog down. Plus they have some really cool features when it comes to switching from program to program like "tabbing" and "spaces". They are easy to upgrade and dont get viruses. So you dont have to spend lots of money on spyware and virus scanning softwares. Not being susceptible to viruses alone is what made me switch (that and most of the graphic designers in the states use macs. its kinda a staple). Hope this helps, Good luck with your purchase. And...... -The operating system is designed by the same people that create the software so the chances of crashing is greatly reduced, mine never has. - Out of the box the mac can handle most anything you throw at it, not having to upgrade your memory.

I dont know what countries you guys are in but MACs are WAYYYYYYYYYY better! PCs always get viruses, take forever to load everything, are a mess to install software on and just suck in general! Hope Im not being too blunt. Visit apple.com and look at the new iMacs they rock!

haha i know i've been meaning to get back to you about my site, I am going to do it myself eventually. Thanks so much for offering though! I was taught to use tables for layout in college.
