  1. Being honest, I am rather bemused and humoured that you think our services are expensive but hey ho, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I would be interested to hear where you can receive unlimited shared hosting with enhanced features (with no limits or extra cost for add-ons) for only £5.
  2. We have cut-priced domain names & reseller hosting available - backed by UK support and a two-tiered end-user and reseller control panel, let me know if you have any questions.
  3. Carrying out SEO is a good place to start - people will come across your site more often and as a result are more likely to visit it... have you thought about introducing any digital marketing/online marketing to try and drive traffic to your site? I had a look at the site, what is it, is it just a page where people can get into other pages...?
  4. A reseller hosting account may be ideal as 1 it allows you to have control over your clients accounts but you can still give them an element of control and management over their own services via the end-user control panel. Maybe best you look around & propose a few prices/features of a few firms so that you can get clients feedback and something that you are happy with or outline why you host where you do i.e. stability etc. and means the host looks after the infrastructure and you can relax and manage the company.
  5. Sounds like a managed service would be ideal for your requirements as this will allow you to concentrate on your business/web designing and leave all the worrying about managing, updating etc. your hosting platform to the professionals. Where are you hosting at the moment?
  6. In order to manage time effectively I like to set out a plan to follow for certain days this means that my most important tasks are prioritised & vice-versa
  7. I think social media is essential for many businesses however it can also be very incorrectly applied i.e. not using the correct channels/communication strategies. If you sell clothing/jewellery then instagram or Pinterest may be better utilised by you as you can upload photos of your products etc.
  8. A hosting platform/domain name registrar for the websites you are looking to set up for your clients?
  9. I believe a lot of people offer this type of service, how genuine the people are, I have no idea. You can also pay to boost your page and receive genuine likes - sounds like this may be more up your street?
  10. If he is the righfull owner of the .co.uk domain name then I also suggest you go directly to nominet, explain the situation and hopefully the control will be passed back to him.
  11. What domain extension does your friend own, a .co.uk, com, .info etc? Does your friend have security access to the account & control panel at ZEN?
  12. HostLoveUK posted a topic in Domain Names
Have you switched to the shorter, sharper .uk domain name yet?
  13. Hi David, a little advice when registering a .tv domain name: domain name must have less than 64 characters (not including .tv) and can include letters (A-Z), numbers (0-9) and hyphens. The .tv domain name is ideal for your personal, business and professional sites that feature video experiences - sound like the .tv domain may be the ideal match for the site you are looking to launch David. Good luck with the building of the website, hope everything goes smoothly
  14. Hi Rallyline, I'm sure you'll find some good feedback of domain registrars on here and hopefully use it to your advantage and be happy with your host.
  15. Nice to hear the feedback and what you value as a customer.
