  1. Like I said, it has improved a lot since before, now each icon on the Flowbar has been replaced with a login form for the websites, it's very hard to explain, but basically instead of loading up each page when clicked, I never have to leave Homeflow thanks to iFrames. (That was a very bad description, sorry!)
  2. *PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING* I have stopped working on 'Project Homeflow', I now just only use it for personal purposes. The public version of this webpage is still up but I have completely stopped working on it. Thanks for your suggestions and tips!
  3. It was originally meant to be used as a homepage to give you easy access. I stopped working on the public version of this webpage a while ago and only now use it for personal purposes, since then it has improved a lot because it is now specifically for me and does exactly what I need.
  4. By 'other people', I meant viewers of my content. Thanks, I will try to learn the basics for PHP and see what I can do from there.
  5. Will this make it so that other people can customize the FlowBar?
  6. http://www.homeflow.elementfx.com/tropicalgreen.html <------ This was made a while ago just for fun. Any ideas for background colors?
  7. Dear 'Nillervision' I see that you're an experienced web designer and I figured I should ask you for help. If you've visited Homeflow, you'll see that currently you're unable to add your own websites to the bar. I was wondering if you knew JavaScript so you could help me. If you want the source for the bar that I use I can give it and also my index file. Just send me a message. Thanks Shaizaad Azaad.
  8. Thanks a lot, I didn't notice that. How did you know? Could you just tell?
  9. addItem(DOMnode element, int|string index) called to add a new item 'element' to the flow at the position index. The element has to be a valid item element. So it must have at least this structure: <div class="item"><img class="content" src="url/to/image"/></div> The index has to be an integer or one of the strings 'first', 'start', 'last' or 'end'. returns: int index (index position of added item) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ That's what needs to be added in order for the content to be editable but I just don't know how to add it in as I am new to web design. Any ideas?
  10. I guess I really should have though about that. I'm a Windows (and Ubuntu) user so I don't have magic mouse. I'll add 'flow-bar sensitivity' to the long list of things I must fix in order for this website to actually be of some use. Thanks for your input, it was really helpful.

  12. You're right, that is what I'm currently working on, I'm trying to make the links editable by the users and will saved using browser cookies. This will be a difficult process, but without it Homeflow is...useless. PS. What were you talking about when you said Google had something like this? Thanks for your input.
  13. Hi, first I'd like to start off by saying please check out my original post because I still need help with it. Anyway let's get to the point, I have started a new website and was wondering if you guys had any unique and/or cool/interesting ideas on how I can attract attention to it. I don't want to look like I'm desperate (because I'm not) and I don't to force people into going to my website by tricking them or being aggressive. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance! Links not working for you? ---------------------------------- Original Post: http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/topic/76846-project-homeflow/ My website: http://www.homeflow.elementfx.com/index.html
  14. Yeah, I guess your right you can't over do it!
