If you are migrating everything to a new hosting with your HTACCESS files (or web.config for Windows) then your 301's will be active on your new hosting as well. Do you have a .HTACCESS file in the root of your website with the 301 etc settings?
 
It shouldn't effect your SEO but make sure your new host has a clean server + the location (country) of the host is the same as your previous one as changing your server location can effect the SEO a little.

This is really handy tool! One tip hat really does help is hosting your common JS/CSS files on a CDN (example: jQuery)

Personally I see a lot of PHP developers working with it and when you have issues due to your most basic of plugins/modules no longer working with your updated Drupal then you can be stuck.
 
It is always best to go with what you know best and then build your skills up in things if you are able too but when it comes to clients websites if it goes wrong and you have no idea on how to fix someone else's module/plugin then it won't look good.

Drupal is good as long as you know what modules you want, unlike WordPress where you get a WYSIWYG editor and image uploading systems etc built-in you have to install a lot of modules from the community to get these things working and some times it can be a lot of pain for some if you want something that can quickly be enabled straight out of the box.
 
Recently our team found SilverStripe CMS (http://www.silverstripe.org/) and this is a very nice CMS to work with and code for.. Also they have most basic modules included in the core script and there are modules by the community that are both free or paid that you can install.

It might be a good idea to upgrade by maybe 256MB - 512MB if you can just in case. We normally recommend to our customers to have at least this free on VPS/Cloud instances to ensure their services do not slow down or have downtime due to memory spikes.

You can change your WHOIS information via your domain registrar. Are you using a .uk or a .com/.net etc type of domain name? as some domain extensions will be required by law to show some data in the WHOIS.

I would agree with 'MMMedia', unless they have notified you that the refund policy has changed and you have X amount of days before it takes effect then you should still be able to claim a refund as per the original agreement. I would suggest forwarding all details to them in a support ticket if they have a helpdesk (make sure to keep a record of all emails you get from them including any tickets that get setup).
 
A company can change their T&C's at any point but have to inform you that something might effect your service. Of course if the new T&C's don't effect their clients in any way and just for extra legal coverage then they don't have to inform their clients (but a company should always inform clients just to make sure).

I would also try and get into Adobe Photoshop as soon as you can. You can always use Adobe Creative Cloud to get the software you need. This way it is a small monthly fee for the license. Details at: http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/creativecloud.html
 
Are you looking more into the 'Web Design' area of web or 'Web Development' or a mix of both?

I would recommend having a look at the past few posts before yours (one above) as GoDaddy is a huge "NO NO" for web hosting.

It is highly recommended for any website that takes personal/private data (address details etc) have an SSL installed on the website. Even though you do not need one for using external payment gateways like PayPal I would recommend ordering one with a provider. You can get SSL's pretty cheap these days (£10-£20 a year for a basic one).

The Amazon service is very reliable and many people are using it but it can become expensive very quickly but as many use it for small projects people find it pretty cheap.
 
The S3 option as @BlueDreamer suggested could also be a possible Amazon solution, but can handle your needs just depends what is going to be done with files.
 
You can easily get a hosting company that does managed hosting to do all the work for you and setup a clustered setup. Some of our clients who have the same sort of requirements run multiply low end CPU servers with very large RAID harddrives and then the front end (plus admin area) of the website manages the file locations. For instance fileserver1.yourdomain.com / fileserver2.yourdomain.com and so on. Just an idea for you as this might work out easier to develop for and might also be a cheaper option.
 
With CDN's large files are harder to work with on a true CDN network as you need large amounts of disk space in multiply countries. If you went with the low CPU servers you could get servers in the US and some in UK/EU and mirror between them.

As Lyndsey pointed out your URL's are pointing to a local file: "file:///Users/alexanderowen/Desktop/kickhousewebsite".
 
If you are using something like Dreamweaver or another WYSIWYG editor for building your website you should be able to change the way it creates your links for you by going into the programs settings (ore preferences) to edit the HTTP/LOCAL URL settings. If you need help finding this just let us know what you are using to build your site and I am sure someone can help you find it
