Hey, guys. I have this idea about taking some of web design layouts to something tangible for presentation purposes. My flat mate ordered his own drawings printed on canvas at some online service: [snip] Outcome looks really nice and I decided to try something similar with my web design layouts. I want to get small prints and hang them on the wall. It would look something like what google displays wen you search for web design layout images. Small thumbnails on the white wall. What are your first thoughts about this kind of way for presenting portfolios? Thanks

I think that brand is not that important. For instance, intel pentium processors are very good while working with design softwares. Had a lot of trouble with celeron(probably the laptop was faulty) few years ago. No problems with pentium processors so far. Take 4 GB ram. Try to make approximate estimates on the hardware and then look for the model that has it. I know designers working on new asus and acer laptops. My opinion, hardware matters.

From my personal experience: opera has few bugs on google docs IE works very fast and understands sites properly Google Chrome understands sites properly, but sometimes works very slow (yes, i clean cache often) Mozilla, so far the best on certain significant criteria. Comments based on previous experience.

I think you are on the right track My comments are subjective, but may be useful: 1) Star seems too large in common context. Try to play with the sybmols and put something instead of the star. 2) I think there are fonts that would suit better this logo 3) Like it! Good luck to You!
